Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 26-27 Any views on North Ferriby would be appreciated. 4/1 with Bet Victor looks a bit big to me especially as they seem difficult to beat at home. I know Chester are good, very good, but surely there is value in the 4/1 at home when they have only lost 1 in the last 12 home league games

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 26-27

Any views on North Ferriby would be appreciated. 4/1 with Bet Victor looks a bit big to me especially as they seem difficult to beat at home. I know Chester are good' date=' very good, but surely there is value in the 4/1 at home when they have only lost 1 in the last 12 home league games[/quote'] There's no doubt that 4s is a generous price, and it's higher than I'd set it, but Ferriby's form can, though, be cut a different way - it's only two league wins in eight. Those two wins have come in the last three, against Kendal and Stafford, neither of whom are pulling up any trees at the moment, but Ferriby are playing better than a month ago, with their progressive approach able to unsettle most sides in the section, and Gary Bradshaw in decent form. They are a little open at times and I think they'll always give a chance to any side who feel like attacking. You can make the case that Chester were a touch fortunate in winning at Frickley and even more so at Matlock at the weekend, but they have plenty of firepower in their locker. It's not one for me, but if I were betting on the match I'd want to have the draw covered. Good luck if you do it.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 26-27 A couple of bets for me tonight. I think Forest Green are worth backing against AFC Telford. FGR's lose to Hayes is still fresh in the mind but they have beaten Luton and Wrexham since so I hope they continue with those performances and hope they they dont get complacent tonight now they face an easier test. AFC have struggled all season and do lack for goals. FGR look value at the odds. The other one is Alfreton to beat Ebbsfleet. Ebbsfleet are a solid side and have seen off the weaker sides in the BSP but I dont consider Alfreton to be a weak side anymore and given they probably only really need one or two more wins to see them safe they have more to play for tonight. Alfreton's away form doesnt look great on paper, but then most of that came from when they were poor. Id have them joint favs so 2/1 with Ladbrokes is value in my view. Some fascinating games in the BSN tonight and although I dont think any are right for betting it will be interesting to see what the results are and I should be going to watch Bishops Stortford v Hyde.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 26-27 I've not had much time for the spreads tonight but addpea's point about FGR is a good one. They tend to keep it tight, as do AFC Telford, who are retreating into their shell to such an extent that Andy Sinton is under fire from all angles at the moment. It's risky by I'm taking FGR's Matt Taylor's goal minutes at 19 to buy. He's in form and I feel this match will be a little more open than the spreads suggest, especially if Telford realise the gravity of the situation. I've also sold the time of Lincoln City's 2nd goal with Sporting at 76. That's a big mark for a side that is creating a few chances (if not putting them away) and once again the match scenario tends towards a more open approach; Hayes's defending will help in that, too.

Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Mar 26-27

So my fear about FGR getting complacent after two good wins turned out to be right though sadly' date=' but at least Alfreton won which meant that I ended up bang level from the two bets I had.[/quote'] Actually FGR had a player sent off after 18 minutes for foul and abusive language...it must have been pretty foul and pretty abusive for that to happen!
