Blues vs Hurricanes Tri-bet - either team 7 or under @ $2.13 (Centrebet) Expecting a close game here. Blues have only one win from four outings this season and the Hurricanes are doing better than expected. The Blues are missing a whole swag of players including Rene Ranger, Kevin Mealamu and Jerome Kaino. However, with Piri Weepu and Ma'a Nonu starting at 10 and 12, expect a bold showing. The Hurricanes showed last week that they can be competitive against the best in going down in a close on to the conference topping Highlanders. Cannot split the two teams and recent conference showdowns suggest a close one. Brumbies straight @ $2.25 (Centrebet) Both teams are playing excellent rugby. Brumbies unlucky to not win last week in Waikato, while the Highlanders just scraped home in Wellington and remain undefeated. Brumbies are showing maturity far beyond their years and that is the effect of Jake White. The game will be close but the Highlanders have a poor record in AUS, having won only once in last 8 outings to AUS and one win against the Brumbies in their last 5 matches. Stormers -8.5 @ 1.91 (Centrebet) Stormers have not lost to the Lions since they were the Cats and it was way back in 2001. Pieterson is starting to kick well and the backline is clicking. As for the Lions, the only points I see in this game for them will come from the boot of Elton Jantjies. Expect a blowout.

Re: 2012 Super Rugby Round 5 Highlanders -4.5 @ 2.04 centrebet Highlanders have been very good this season and it is no wonder that they are undefeated so far after 4 rounds. Their forwards ahve led the way and like them to do so again, as this Brumbies side has played resonably well this year, but with so many new players, they lack that consistency to compete with the better sides. The Highlanders also have some good depth and experience on the bench so they recycle their team well, and they are very strong at the breakdown. Like the away side to do enough to win this game, as they like to grind teams down, and not too confident in the Brumbies to stop them Record: 2-6 (-2.23)
