Re: Premier League Darts - Week 6 Wade v Lewis highest checkout > 120.5 1.83 @ SpreadEx 6pts Both players have a good checkout record and over there PL history have achieved this 39% and 37% of the time. This indicates odds of around 1.6. Both players aren't in great form but have achieved this in 5 of the 10 games they have played. Anderson v Whitlock highest checkout

Re: Premier League Darts - Week 6 Poor night last week so back to +9.5pts overall now. Hoping for better tonight. 4pts J.Wade to beat A.Lewis 11/8 Blue Square James Wade comes into this match off the back of two wins while Lewis has lost his last two and not really played well at all. His problems got worse at the weekend when he went to Reading to play in the Players Championship tournaments and lost in the first round on Sunday and the last 32 on Saturday. Wade lost in the first round on Saturday to Kim Huybrects who is going well at the minute but then he made the semi final on the Sunday which will have pepped him up nicely. Of course Wade's going to be reminded about the World semi final which he surrendered from a huge winning position but I don't think that will worry Wade, if anything it will spur him on more in this match. Wade has been playing well in the tournament and with a bit more luck and better finishing he could easily have more than the two wins he has but his finishing looks back to how he would want it and he's scoring steadily. Lewis isn't really scoring great, even last week when he hit 7 180's it was either 180 or 58 or something and you can see in his face that he's battling low confidence. With confidence low and the will to beat Wade to keep on top of this rivalry Lewis may just try too much in this match and snatch at a few darts. Then there's the crowd where Lewis was pelted by coins and all sorts last year which can't help the world champion. I don't expect this to be a classic but I do expect Wade to win it. 4pts S.Whitlock to beat G.Anderson 7/4 William Hill Simon Whitlock is going well and I thought he was very impressive last week. His 8 180's generally all came at the right time and his finishing was good too. That came off the back of a gallant loss to Phil Taylor in a match which the Wizard more than played his part in so after a shambles of a performance to lose to Painter and an iffy and undeserved win over Wade, Whitlock looks back to his best. Gary Anderson has looked a lot better the further the tournament has gone on but that came to a bit of a standstill last week against Taylor when Anderson seemed to give up at 5-1. This isn't a good match up for Anderson. Whitlock scores strongly and he finishes well but most importantly it seems he has an unflappable temperament. Then we have the crowd who appalled Anderson so much last year it actually put him off and he was crap against Hamilton when the tournament was in Scotland earlier in the tournament. Fortunately for him that night the crowd got to Hamilton but I don't think they'll get to Whitlock and I think at 7/4 the Wizard is a very tasty price in this one. 4pts R.Barneveld (-2.5 legs) to beat K.Painter 11/10 Bet365 Raymond Barneveld should be a good thing to win this match and rather than take the 7/10 on him to win I'll take the bigger price as 8-6 is a scoreline which isn't as likely as 8-5 with the pattern of who throws first. I've been impressed with Barney throughout the tournament and in the two matches he's lost he's been unlucky. He didn't really miss a thing against Taylor but walked into a whirlwind and then Wade produced a couple of killer checkouts last week to deny him. Barney is scoring well though and perhaps more importantly he is finishing well. Painter's confidence and belief has impressed me in this tournament but I don't think he's scoring all that well and that's putting a lot of pressure on his finishing, which so far has been very good but can it stay that way? Tonight I'm not so sure because he will be getting pelters from the crowd with this match being last on and he taking on one of the crowd's heroes. Barneveld will have the crowd on his side and I think they can roar the Dutchman onto a win and a win which is no worse than 8-5. 4pts Under 28.5 180's 4/5 BetVictor This line looks a little high to me. I know we had 35 last week but that was in front of a small crowd and one which was a lot less raucous and influential than this crowd will be tonight. I think looking down the card there could be a couple of one sided matches and as long as the Anderson vs Whitlock match doesn't go bonkers then I don't think this line will be touched. There will be a lot of distractions for certain players tonight with the crowd one of the liveliest on the Premier League circuit and that, combined with the potential for a couple of short matches, can ensure we don't see anywhere near 29 180's in this evening of arrers.
