Shipsupstreets
Re: England > Weekend > FA Trophy 3rd Round/BlueSQ Bet Prem Feb 4 Even though Northwich are going well in the Evo-Stik, 3/1 about Hampton & Richmond Borough is a touch weightier than I can make it. It is being played at Macclesfield, which may dampen slightly the passion of the home fans. The caveat, of course, is the weather - the Vics will be a more acceptable play on Tuesday night. maliniok
Re: England > Weekend > FA Trophy 3rd Round/BlueSQ Bet Prem Feb 4 I don't usually bet on FA Trophy due to its unpredictable nature but may try to experiment a bit this weekend. 5/1 on Ebbsfleet to beat York City is tempting. Reasoning: FA Trophy is traditionally won by midtable Conference National teams because those who are in promotion or relegation battles field weaker sides. Out of remaining Conference teams this is the case with York, Kiddy, Gateshead, Luton, Grimsby and Cambridge who are all in promotion/playoff battle and Newport, Bath, Alfreton and Darlington who are strugglig against relegation. Only Ebbsfleet are relatively safe midtable and so they should field a strong side who will try to beat the Minstermen fringe men. Considering the above I am also willing to put a small amount on Ebbsfleet to win the whole thing - 25/1 seem very good odds if you ask me. Darran
Re: England > Weekend > FA Trophy 3rd Round/BlueSQ Bet Prem Feb 4 Hard to know what games are going to take place this weekend given it looks like Friday is going to be very cold and Saturday not very warm. Alfreton look a biggish price as Gateshead continue to look dodgy. I could be tempted by Carshalton as well at Newport. If Kettering are a big enough price I might back them again as well. Darran
Re: England > Weekend > FA Trophy 3rd Round/BlueSQ Bet Prem Feb 4 So with Darlo safe until the end of the season there is news coming through that there has been an agreement made to sell Kettering. sportxtipster
Re: England > Weekend > FA Trophy 3rd Round/BlueSQ Bet Prem Feb 4 York vs Ebbsfleet Yes, York City are going to get involved in the promotion battle, they are there, with just 2 points above the "no man's land" area and I think they are going to focus on that. Ebbsfleet are no mugs and can upset them In the Division game was a win for York, 3-2, but now, we surely will see a surprise. Ebbsfleet lost just 6 matches in 15 away, so I think they can produce some joy to me. Ebbsfleet DNB @ 4.00 with Paddy Power
sportxtipster
Re: England > Weekend > FA Trophy 3rd Round/BlueSQ Bet Prem Feb 4 Fleetwood Town vs Tamworth Fleetwood are well known for playing much better away, but since they are again on the first place with 1 point ahead of Wrecsam I think they have enough maturity to thrash everything that comes on their venue. Tamworth are the ideal opponent for thrashing as they are in a total madness with the results. Despite winning in Cambridge, here will be difficult to get something. Everything under this bet is a huge surprise for me and I really think Fleetwood Town are going to cover this AH. Shipsupstreets
Re: England > Weekend > FA Trophy 3rd Round/BlueSQ Bet Prem Feb 4 Given that there's a bit of a chance it'll be on (covers, hot-air blowers), I'm buying goals in the AFC Telford/Forest Green Rovers game at 2.6 with Spreadex. An icy pitch can sometimes work against goals, but I think that both sides have goals in them, and both defences have limited abilities when it comes to stopping them. FGR have done well to beat Wrexham and lose narrowly against Fleetwood (a match they should have got more from), and I think they will continue to in a similar vein tomorrow. As Telford have been regular conceders, I also wouldn't put anyone off a sell of the time of FGR's 2nd goal at 77 with Spreadex - the level is set much higher than I can make it. Matty Taylor's goal minutes at 19 look a buy with Sporting Index.
Darran
Re: England > Weekend > FA Trophy 3rd Round/BlueSQ Bet Prem Feb 4 A note of caution for people looking to oppose York tomorrow. Gary Mills has gone on record saying he is desperate to lead a side out at Wembley so I would expect a pretty strong side from them tomorrow (if the game is on). Also they beat Ebbsfleet with 10-men in the league fixture a couple of weeks back so I expect it will be a pretty tough game for Ebbsfleet. So ive changed it. York are taking the competition seriously and will probably field their first team. It will probably also include at least two of their three new signings. Doig could be a particularly good signing as their defence has let in some silly goals when they have dominated games. walker will probably be on the bench and come on at some time. i really cant see an upset here. Its nice and sunny in York and all the frost has gone so i dont think there are worries about the game going ahead.
Darran
Re: England > Weekend > FA Trophy 3rd Round/BlueSQ Bet Prem Feb 4 Also since the final went back to Wembley teams near the top of the table have a very good record of at least getting to the semi-finals. kevshat
Re: England > Weekend > FA Trophy 3rd Round/BlueSQ Bet Prem Feb 4 No go at Aggborough today. I'll have to wait until Tuesday to sample their top nosh again. Think I read the Telford game is off too.
Shipsupstreets
Re: England > Weekend > FA Trophy 3rd Round/BlueSQ Bet Prem Feb 4 Inspection at York ongoing but all other Trophy games have been bumped. Game on at Fleetwood Town, but all others off in the BlueSQ Prem.
Darran
Re: England > Weekend > FA Trophy 3rd Round/BlueSQ Bet Prem Feb 4 York v Ebbsfleet is off. Should have been off earlier really given how fair Ebbsfleet have to travel.
