M. Bachinger (h-3, 5)-Van De (30.01. 13:10) 1 1,50 Lacko L.-P. Starace (30.01. 13:10) 1 1.30 Course: 1,950 stake:2/10 What about provome pair: Matthias Bachinger German, born 02-Apr-1987 ... prefers playing on hard, has a very strong service, in good shape, although the drop in advanced previously in the tournament second round of pospilsa .... currently the on 89 mijestu ATP rankings this year are expected to be progress in the top 50 ... And now a few words about Izak van der Merwe-jušnoafrikanac, 84 year, in very bad shape, there is a srevu, prosijecan player that says place 114th in the ATP rankings. second match: Area where you will be playing in Zagreb, definitely fits much better Lacko game, while the old man has a poor record on hard courts in Carrer. He is known for his slow play and build up points wise, but I do not think it will have too much time to think under pressure from the big picture of basic Lacko.uz to lacko in great shape and arrived at the school where trecek confessions of hope. ....

In my opinion Horacio Zeballos will beat Adrian Ungur. Ungur played in the final at Bucaramanga challenger but lost against Wayne Odesnik. He can feel tired. He didn't player against great players - one of good player was Paolo Lorenzi and Adrian Ungur had big problems in this match. Horacio Zeballos won't be easy opponent for him. You have to remember that Zeballos plays left-handed. As I mentioned Adrian Ungur played in the final at Bucaramanga challenger but made many unforced errors. Odd at pinnacle sports is good and bet on Horacio.

Sport Tennis

Event Frederico Gil - Paolo Lorenzi

Selection Frederico Gil

Strength 4/10

Date 31/01/2012

Bookmaker/Price Pinnacle Sports @ 2.00

Reasoning Paolo Lorenzi is a favorite in this match but it will be close meeting in my opinion. Lorenzi played in the semifinal at Bucaramanga challenger - he lost against Ungur. Frederico Gil didn't play on clay in this year but showed good tennis on hardcourt - he won against Dodig in the first round at Australian Open, in the second defeated a good player - Granollers-Pujol. Both players don't have strong service. For me Frederico Gil plays better in rallies - he lost weight, moves better on the court. Frederico Gil's favourite surface is clay. For me this tournament is a great chance to make good result and win many points.

Sport Tennis

Event Jeremy Chardy - Eric Prodon

Selection Jeremy Chardy -1.5 sets (Asian-handicap)

Strength 5/10

Date 31/01/2012

Bookmaker/Price Bwin @ 1.83

Reasoning Eric Prodon is able to play on high level on clay - his favourite surface. Jeremy Chardy likes play on clay, too. He has strong service and forehand. They played two times - one match in 2006 won Prodon (in two sets). In the last year won Chardy. It was at Madrid challenger. Chardy destroyed Prodon 6-3 6-1. He won this challenger. Jeremy is in good shape, won Noumea challenger in this round. In Australia he lost in the first round against Dimitrov but won two sets. Eric Prodon is more experienced player, he won many challenger titles but I think that Jeremy Chardy is more dangerous player on this surface. His service is really hard to break.

Sport Tennis

Event Paul-Henri Mathieu - Cedrik-Marcel Stebe

Selection Cedrik-Marcel Stebe

Strength 5/10

Date 31/01/2012

Bookmaker/Price Bwin @ 1.48

Reasoning Paul-Henri Mathieu plays at home, he is able to play great tennis but he didn't play any matches in the last year. He leads 1-0 in head-to-head series. He played against James Lemke in the last year and destroyed him 600 6-2. It was very easy win. Samuel Groth's favourite surface is hardcourt. On the other hand, I think that James Lemke prefers playing on claycourts to playing on hard. James Lemke plays left-handed but can it be a problem if he destryoed him in the last match? Samuel Groth feels great on this surface and in my opinion he will win in two sets. Samuel Groth lost in the first round against Tomic in the last year. He will play against a worse opponent tomorrow. What is important he has to defend many points - he played in the final here in the last season. Unfortunately he had injury and lost the final. Chris Guccione is difficult opponent to play because he possesses powerfull service. What is more he plays left-handed. Sebastian Rieschick didn't play against Chris Guccione but I think that is Chris Guccione's advantage. Chris Guccione plays one-handed backhand. He loves play in Australia. He was two times runner-up ATP Tour tournament so he can play really good.

Re: Tennis: 30th January to 5th February Burnie Challenger Benjamin Mitchell vs James Duckworth Mitchell has a glorious chance to win against Duckworth once again. Both players are making many double faults and both players are having bombing serves. Will be a match of strong nerves and we will not see many breaks. Mitchell is more fresh and with a much better play in last period! Mitchell @ 2.42 with betsafe

Re: Tennis: 30th January to 5th February Smith vs Sugita Sugita made some excellent results, but failed to win a trophy recently. He hasn't got yet that power to dominate a tournament from start to the end. He is much better than Smith on returning, while Smith possess a good serve. Will be a good match to watch, but I think Sugita will win in 2 sets. Sugita -1.5 AH @ 2.00 with Nordic bet

Re: Tennis: 30th January to 5th February Yen-Hsun Lu - Isaac Frost I think Yen-Hsun Lu will try to win this tournament. It is in his power to do it, Denis Istomin is the only one that can threaten his surpemacy. He will want anm easy match here against a player from 471 ATP place. Lu played well in Melbourne, only Del Potro managed to stop him in 3rd round. The Tai Play player is very good on retunrs and will put huge problems to the Asutralian. under 19 games @ 1.85 with NordicBet

Re: Tennis: 30th January to 5th February I see we have a new punter here, welcome and good luck Mateo, may money rain down upon you from the bookies :)) I think you chose too many matches for the favourites to win 2-0 but good luck anyway. Interesting fact: There was a complaint from several betting agencies last year regarding a tennis tournament played in the czech republic or croatia, i don't remember right now, it was a low-level challenger tour and the agencies reported large sums placed on several key matches in various agencies in Romania, Bulgaria and Ucraine. All the "favourites" won except Eric Prodon where something went wrong, he was losing and retired when his opponent was coming up to serve for the match. I checked it out and the match was at the Rijeka Challenger in croatia. Kristian Meszaros - Eric Prodon 6-4 2-6 6-5 - retired. Knowing this i can't help ask myself why two fairly decent french players went to play at the Vina del Mar tournament while the Montpellier atp tour is underway at the same time. Surely rankings wouldn't have been a problem, if they would have wanted to play there they would have got wild cards. This match has "NO BET" written all over it for me.

Smith is a unknown youngster that will play a tournament for own public. I think he is not enough to beat Sugita here on this surface. 7/10 Stebe tb. Mathieu @ 1.50 Interwetten Mathie don't play matches the last two years. Stebe the German is in form, playing good last week and lets see some good plays on the Australian Open. I think the German will easy win this match against the worldcard player.

Re: Tennis: 30th January to 5th February Jurgen Melzer vs Phillip Petzchner – Petzchner to win 2.0 at Bet365 (1 unit) So the German has a 3-0 H2H lead vs Melzer, including a very recent match a couple of weeks ago which Petzchner was able to win with relative ease 7-5 6-1. It was a similar story when these two met in Miami last year as well, and having played doubles together a number of times Petzchner clearly has a better understanding of his opponent’s game and can use this to his advantage. Both of those last two wins were on hard courts and whilst this is a little different being indoors, I can see no evidence from either man that there performances recently on this surface have been substantially better / worse than normal. Melzer’s fitness is still a worry for me and having had to come through 3 qualifying rounds here, would expect this to also have had an effect. :hope

Re: Tennis: 30th January to 5th February Ivan Dodig/Mate Pavic tb. Andreas Beck/Guillermo Garcia-Lopez @ 2.75 with 5dimes From these 4 players only Dodig and Beck have big experience on indoor hard surfaces. But Beck is not at all at his best, remember he didn't play with Federer. Lopez is nothing special. Dodig and Pavcic are good servers and most important are playing home! I think the Croatians will celebrate in the end!

Re: Tennis: 30th January to 5th February

Why do some people just mindlessly pick heavy favourites and and spice up the odds by simply suggesting they're going to win in straight sets? Is thought even going into any of these tips recently?
My write ups are not good, but i see value in that picks. Don't have enough balls to play the straight sets pick with 4 or 5 units. I don't like this tournaments and choose the ML.

Re: Tennis: 30th January to 5th February Gicquel vs Cippola The fact that Cippola won against Davydenko made that his quota became bigger. well, I am not impressed on that as he had many break chances offered and also played against an opponent that likes the surprises on his own games. Davydenko had a small odd for his win. If he would advance in the next round he wouldn't have been such a favorite ... Gicquel is a great server and that will not be liked by Cipolla. They're great friends who plays doubles together. If that need to be taken into consideration. Plus Melzer already played three matches here in qualies, so is familiar with the conditions. He won them pretty easily so i don't think he is fatigued. I don't want to oppose your pick, just point some other facts. Good luck

I would be on Gil really heavy if he played some match on clay before this one. This is the only thing that puts me off.

Re: Tennis: 30th January to 5th February Decent day yesterday with a small profit to be had. Taken a few more today. Will write this one up and do the others in a separate post as the match starts pretty soon. Cedrik-Marcel Stebe (-2.5 games) to beat Paul-Henri Mathieu- 4/5 Bet365- (3/10) Battle of the double barrelled names here and I'd fancy the young German to prevail in the end. Mathieu played his first match for a couple of years the other day in Germany, where he narrowly lost to Bemelmans and it looks as though the Frenchman put in a decent performance. Especially given Stebe was beaten in straight sets by Bemelmans in the same tournament but when these two meet, I think Stebe will have too much in the end. He's played far more tennis than his opponent, and should have taken Hewitt to 5 at the Aussie Open but crumbled under the pressure. He did beat some decent players last week though in Berrer, Becker and Greul and took a set of Nishikori at the start of the year so he should be playing with some confidence I'd fancy. Although Mathieu performed well last week, this courts from what I saw are playing extremely quickly, much more than those in Zagreb and for a guy with a lack of match fitness, I'm not so sure if he can stay consistent enough for the whole match. Even if he takes a close set of Stebe, one decent set for the German will cover the handicap so prefer that to the unders in this one.
