Re: Copa Toyota Libertadores 2012 Both Teams Have Scored as per my tip and at half time it's already 1-2 but this game is crap. It's littered with free kicks, Juan Aurich have a diving scumbag by the name of Israel Khan (might not have spelt tht correctly) who tricked this appalling referee into booking a Santos player just before the break when no contact was even made. Edit : 55 minutes played, this is pub football Edit : 63 minutes played, this is definately the worst game I've seen for months. Juan Aurich are a bunch of cheating scumbags Edit : Full Time 1-3 This match was absolute crap with no entertainment value whatseover. Add Neymar to the cheating scumbags list for several pathetic incidents second half. Juan Aurich are the worst team I've seen worldwide for a long time. I can only think thier record of scoring in 71 of their last 74 home games must include numerous penalties from their diving antics. I'm quite angry about this game as you can tell !

Re: Copa Toyota Libertadores 2012

Neymar ? Yes it will play' date=' the only thing it's the condition of the pitch...[/quote'] The pitch was good for Neymar, it was soft enough for him everytime the scumbag dived. I no longer have any respect for him after watching his pathetic antics in the second half. One of those a***holes who touches his face almost every time anyone dares brush up against him. What's he feeling for ? A stray bogie maybe ?

Re: Copa Toyota Libertadores 2012 Crikey, is there anyone else remotely interested in this competition ? No contributors last week, and none yet this week, so let the Anorak undo his zip, if anyone read this and got involved in the match say hi, its live on Betfair and 365 : Uni Catolica - Espanola Both from Chile, Uni Cat are not the force they were last season having off loaded many of their best players since then. In 2012 all Uni Cats homes have been Under 2.5 except for one which was 2-2. They're currently a very low scoring team, unlike last season when they battered many opponents. Juan Eluchans and Lucas Pratto the most memorable from that side both departed. Espanola have been involved in some high scoring games in 2012 however when we look at the head to head for tonights fixture we see that none of the last 10 played at Uni Cat went Over 3.5, last few were 0-0, 2-1, 2-0, 0-0, 1-1. With two away games remaining after tonights match for Uni Cat, this is a match they must win to have any realistic chance of progressing from the group. The reverse in this fixture on 7th March was 1-1. Prior to that the meetings at Espanola have been 4 consec games of 3 or 4 goals. In all of Espanolas last 8 games, both teams have scored. With the exception of one match, all of Espanolas last 14 have had 2 or more goals. I think this will be a tight game, Uni Cat must score but can't afford to concede either, they have drawn all 4 of their fixtures in this comp' My bets are : Under 3.5 goals @ Betfair Odds 1.53, plus a small stake on the 0-0 @ Odds 16.5 Betfair users note there is very little money changing hands on this match pre kick off. With less than 20 mins to kick off only £25k has traded on the match result, the 3.5 market had only £1087 traded until a few minutes ago.

Mixed reactions to this, £40.73 profit is decent but this game highlighted yet again the dangers of betting on games with virtually no punters on it on Betfair. I'll detail my strategy on this one as it may help others. I try to avoid using monetary amounts but lets do it : £2.50 on 0-0 @ 17.0 £100.00 on Under 3.5 @ 1.53 When the first goal went in after 7 mins I put £2.50 on 1-0 @ 16.0 which I thought was massive odds Half Time (1-0) and it looked like it was still going to be a low scorer, but I decided to Lay the Under 3.5 for equal profit @ 1.34 giving £13.50 profit whatever the result. Then immediately I tried to Back the Under 3.5 again @ 1.35 for the rest of the game. If youre wondering why I did this its because if you lost your £100 stake through an unexpected goal rush, at least you got £13.50 split profit mentioned above in the bank, leaving a potential loss then of £86.50 Problem was because there was so little market interest the fresh bet went unmatched all the way down to 1.29 at which point I realised that part of the bet wasn't going to continue. That's annoying as the odds dropped fast enough to have sweated out the original bet and Layed out around 55 mins for around 75% of the max. Anyhow lets continue, sending off 80th minute. At this point it looked nailed on there'd be another goal so I traded out the 1-0 for equal profit whatever the result, £19.21 profited on that part of it. I played that perfectly as there was a goal a minute or so later, so well pleased I acted. Then there was yet another goal moments after that ! It ended 2-1, the match was crap but my orig selection and tip was correct. I did a few other Back and Lays during the match on Under 6.5 and Under 5.5 just to bump up the profit by a few quid as there seemed no danger. I missed around £30 through that half time Lay and failing to get the fresh bet matched. To turn £102.50 into £143.23 is still pretty satisfying though.

Re: Copa Toyota Libertadores 2012 Crikey, theres 15 people browsing this forum at the moment yet no one other than myself is a site member ! Come on in and join us ! If you're looking for tips on tonights matches, firstly the Boca Arsenal match I won't be touching it, MNC our regular Argentinian native is your man for the workout on that one but he's not in here tonight yet. If I'm still awake at 02.00 UK time, I might watch : Zamora v Fluminense It's Venezuela v Brazil, the home side have played 3 games in this tournament so far and havent managed to score a single goal ! 1 x 0-0 and two losses leaves them marooned unless they can muster some turn around tonight. Their home record in their own league isn't anything to rave about either, leaving me wondering why they're even in this competition. Flum' have a strong Away record, recent successes include 1-2 at Boca in this tournament, and a 1-3 at Vasco in the league. Worryingly for them they have conceded in 7 of their last 8 Aways, but what are the chances of Zamora being able to score a goal themselves, not exactly high based on their dismal activities in tonights tournament. With the Boca game over by the time the Zamora match starts, should Boca win it then Zamora will think they are near enough out of the tournament so this could play a roll in the match tonight. Heads may have dropped pre kick off. Two weeks ago the reverse of this was Flum 1 - Zamora 0. Flum havent lost by more than goal in their last 24 matches bar two matches in the last four played, but they were in the Carioca Serie A league which is a local league, not the full major league which hasnt started yet. In other words team line ups might be inferior to their regular players in those matches. Flum have scored 3 goals on many occasions since August. I don't think theres any hope of a Home win here tonight (hence 6.0) and the Away win at 1.75 is poor value IMO I can't see any value on the Unders market, U 3.5 @ 1.34 is uninspiring especially when compared to last nights 1.53 at Universidad Catolica. If I look at a fixture and its odds, and nothing jumps out at me then clearly it appears there's no value to be had anywhere. After spending over 20 minutes on this I now finally realise it's almost certainly a no bet ! Here's Zamora's recent results, they're poor :
Re: Copa Toyota Libertadores 2012 Alianza Lima vs Vasco de Gama Alianza need to win, but they're in very bad shape. Probably due to very bad financial situation (players are not paid for the last few months). On the other hand Vasco is in better situation, but will be without key mf Juninho tonight. While playing a big derby against Flamengo in a few days. I was interested in away win here, but @1.80 is low for me... giving up!

Re: Copa Toyota Libertadores 2012 Lanus v Olimpia Ascuncion Firstly must say how glad I am to be back after several days out of action due to a PC virus. Tonights game here is Argentina v Paraguay and the stats plus remaining fixtures in this tournament make this one a tight game to call in my opinion. Both teams are on 7 points in the table, but with Lanus remaining game after tonight being away at Flamengo, they can not afford to slip up tonight. Olimpia's remaining game is at home to Emelec, a game which should be a near walk over based on the two performances I've seen of Emelec who by then probably won't have anything to play for anyhow. So from this paragraph we can assume Lanus must try to win tonight whilst a draw for Olimpia should be acceptable. Current form for Lanus at home is uninspiring : 0-1 Belgrano, 0-1 Arg Jrs, 1-0 Emelec, 1-3 San Martin, 1-1 Flamengo, 4-1 San Lorenzo Current form for Olimpia away : 0-1 Guarani, 3-3 Flamengo with Olimpia making an incredible comeback from 3-0 down they scored in the 76th / 84th / 89th minute ! 0-1 Ascunion, 2-3 Rubio Nu, 0-0 Porteno PF, 1-0 Emelec. In all fixtures home and away, its 12 games since Olimpia last lost a game, another 10 more to find the next loss. So, what about tonights betting ? I can't see Lanus winning based on all of the above factors, even if they do then surely it's only going to be by a single goal. If you ignore Olimpia's last defeat by more than 1 goal as it was their same city rivals, then it's a total of 32 games without that since it last occurred. The two games between Flamengo and Olimpia are the only games that have gone over 3.5 in this group. The only other game with more than 2 goals was the earlier meeting between our two tonight, 2-1 at Olimpia. Lanus are clear favourites tonight with the bookmakers @ 1.80 to 1.90, I believe this is wrong and that both teams should be close to equal. I see the home win being the least likely of the three possible match results. I might tweak this later but for the moment these options should be considered : Lay Lanus Not to win the match @ 1.90, if Olimpia take the lead one could then put a Back bet on for security but if that happens I can't imagine Lanus getting any better than a draw. If you're using sites other than Betfair then the Double Chance Draw or Olimpia is the same bet. Small stake on the 0-0 @ 10.0 I don't expect many goals in this, 1 at most for Lanus, maybe 2 for Olimpia. Under 3.5 @ 1.31 doesn't excite me but I still might do it, @ 1.40 I would have def grabbed it. There's no value in Under 4.5 @ 1.11 to 1.13. As many people know I'm not a fan of the 2.5 line and I feel this could be a borderline Under / Over match, Under 2.5 currently 1.80, Over 2.5 2.28 (Betfair odds) Game is live on Betfair and 365. Edit : Crikey, after not being able to do any tipping since last Thursday night, this felt like a strange but enjoyable experience after having done it !

Re: Copa Toyota Libertadores 2012 NervousA, at some point you will need to start to follow team news ! Lanus played many of those league games without their best players (Camoranesi, Valeri, Regueiro, Pavone), with mixed lineups or with them on the bench and coming the last 20-25 minutes. Olimpia has been really strong so far in 2012. They lost only 1 game 2 months ago but they are still undefeated in the Paraguay league and in Copa Libertadores they come from two great results: a 3-3 at Flamengo coming back from 0-3 in the last 15 minutes !!! And a 3-2 at home. Tonight neither can afford to lose and the draw is a better result for Olimpia because in the last round they will play at home vs Emelec, who will probably be already eliminated by then. Lanus has to go to Brazil to play Flamengo and if they don't win tonight they might be in a must win situation. My bet for tonight is Olimpo +0.75, yesterday I took it at 2.00 but now is down to 1.74. Really can't imagine a 0-0 tonight, at some point Lanus will have to go all forward, but I hope a 0-0 or 0-1 ad we both win :)

Re: Copa Toyota Libertadores 2012

Asian Handicap Rules for + 0.75 are : Win : Win Draw : Win Lose by 1 goal : Lose half of stake Lose by 2 or more : Lose all of stake Looks like you got a good bet there @ 2.00 Good value
Now back to 1.90 in asian bookies.

Re: Copa Toyota Libertadores 2012 Thanks, yes it's "+0.5/+1.0" I'm not sure what I'm gonna do on this match. We both have the same opinions which is good. When I say small stake on 0-0 its not necessarily because I think it will finish 0-0, its useful protection if I want to do something in the match whilst its still 0-0. Not having placed any bets since last Wednesday (because of PC virus until tonight) I feel a bit, whats the word, apprehensive, and to be honest if the match is crap in the first half I won't wanna have to watch it in the second half to deal with any bets. If Pavonne is one of Lanus best players it doesnt say much for the rest :lol I think he would struggle to play in the third division here in England.

If Stracqualursi plays in the EPL I could play there too, let alone Pavone !

Re: Copa Toyota Libertadores 2012 MNC, thanks for your advice, I have the following bet on Betfair, I didn't take the 0-0, just the Asian Handicap. Believe it or not this is the first time I've ever used the AH ! Normally on Copa Lib' games I don't wanna see goals going in because you know I like Under 3.5 / 4.5, but tonight its different, I want goals, but none for Lanus ! We both have the same bet running :hope
Re: Copa Toyota Libertadores 2012 Olimpia defence very poor in that first half. Let's hope they can repeat their goal scoring exploits as per the Flamengo games. (MNC I was watching Tigre Quilmes highlights on youtube before making the earlier Stacq' posting and put Quilmes here by error).

Re: Copa Toyota Libertadores 2012

Olimpia are absolute fking toilet in defence' date=' 3-0 now.[/quote'] i think Pavone read what you wrote before the game ! One of Olimpias's best players is the bald guy that got injured and was replaced in the 1st half. Really the worst I've seen from them this year.

Re: Copa Toyota Libertadores 2012

Before the kick off I did check the odds for Lanus to score 3 as a way of potentially covering my AH bet with some safety' date=' but then who would have expected Olimpia to be this shit. Odds for Lanus to score 3 or more were 10.0[/quote'] Yes, Olimpia has been a surprise tonight. It was not impossible to see Lanus winning of course, but not this easy. Group gets interesting now.

Re: Copa Toyota Libertadores 2012 Tonight is possibly my worst ever fking performance. It's rare I ever get annoyed on here because I don't often lose a bet of any meaningful amount but I fully deserved it tonight for fking about trying to get a few points better odds in the second half on two selections. I waited for slightly better odds on Over 4.5 and should have just taken what was on show there and then, too late, goal. That would have rescued me completely. Then I went for Over 5.5 and waited 30 seconds for a match instead of taking the odds of 8.0 that was available, too late, goal. I've made a complete arse of myself tonight and fully deserved to get hammered, yet I could have lost nothing whatsoever. The fact Olimpia were absolute shit has nothing to do with it, anal behaviour is what cost me the loss.

Re: Copa Toyota Libertadores 2012 Impossible to imagine a 6-0 game, this one and the 0-3 in Estudiantes - Boca have been my two worst bets in a looong time ! Early goals, never had the chance to win it. It was really a weird night. Tomorrow i'm on Universidad de Chile +0.25 @ 1.80 If Godoy Cruz wins it 6-0 I should probably retire !!
