Levante 0:3 Valencia Local derby with little importance since Valencia won 4-1 in the first match. Btw they're winning their last three away games vs Levante. Teams are on the 3rd and 4 place in the league and their minds are focused on the weekend matches. Juan Martinez (Levante coach) can't count on a few very important players such as injured Juanlu Gomez (6g), Valdo (2g) and Barkero (3g), all regular midfielders. Newcomers Serrano and Botelho will replace them. On the other hand Unai Emery won't risk with slightly injured Hernandez and Mathieu. Also it is likely that some first team players of both teams find themselves on the bench tonight. It is therefore ungratefully predict winner of the match, but since they're local rivals expect a great fight. Levante surely want revenge, but can hardly hope for a miracle. I see a fighting game, but without a lot of chances and goals this time. My fair is about 1,80... under 2,5 @2.00 2/10 :(

-2 there were even seven yellow and one red card, unfortunately Valencia took advantage of their opportunities...

Re: Copa del Rey 2011-2012 Mirandes v Athletic Bilbao Athletic Bilbao @ 1.80 (William Hill) I watched both legs of Mirandes' QF against Espanyol. Whilst the first leg both sides fought hard, the return leg at Mirandes, Espanyol played lazy football and thought they had the game won. Mirandes' two goals in that game were from lazy defending from Espanyol and Mirandes hardly had any chances created from their own half. I feel that Athletic Bilbao have more than enough quality to finish this one even in the first leg, with the likes of Llorente starting.

Good value odds for Valencia because of these reasons: - Emery often gains tactical advantage against Guardiola, even when Barca conquered the world in recent years. - Some internal conflict in Barca. What happen when some players (Messi, Xavi) and even the president Rosell are complaining about referees but Guardiola is not ? Is he trying to keep a "good image" or simply cannot control the dressing room ? - Barca's bad away form, players's bad fitness and bad head-to-head result with Valencia at Mestalla. However I will wait for the line-up. Will place bet in Valencia surely if Banega can play.

This mirandes team is difficult to figure out, in league they play real low scoring games but then in the copa del rey they appear to play up tempo.

Valencia must play agressive football, like Madrid did previously if they want to have a chance to pass the catalans. In my oppinion the 11 players from Valencia are big favorites to pick up cards tonight. There is no way to get more an more frustrated watching opponents passing and provocate you enough... yes, Im talking about a team that holds over 70% possesion of the ball, Barcelona. How Valencia are going to take the ball from Barcelona if not from fouls or agressive pressing (Wich ead to fouls, again) ? I cant see other option, unless Barcelona deliberately give the ball to opponent.. this wont happen. I believe 4 Valencia players will get yellow carded (wont mind if ends 1-3). My probability for this selection 75%, and the right odds shall be something around 1.50 2. Mascherano (Barcelona) receive a card reg. time (player must start) 2.95 Expekt Busquets isnt avaiable, this forces Pep Guardiola to put Javier Mascherano in the midfield after many games argentinian played in the central defense. Last time Javier played defensive midfielder wa againt Villareal (ended 0-0) and he received the yellow. 3. Soldado (Valencia) receive a card reg. time (player must start) 2.90 Expekt After the first match in Valencia (1-1) Soldado speaked not in polite terms about the referees, and I think today Valencia striker will get nervous because the match it wil be tense and hot , above normal games, and he (Soldado) is the kind of player who protests in a very agressive way to referees decisions.

Re: Copa del Rey 2011-2012 Not exactly breaking news here after last night's amazing display, but I do feel Athletic Bilbao offer a bit of value at 7s or thereabouts for the final in Madrid on May 25th. The league finishes on May 13th so plenty of time to prepare, whilst Barcelona may well be contesting the Champions League Final on the 19th. Athletic drew 2-2 at home to Barsa earlier this season (a certain Mr Messi equalising in injury time) and are playing better than ever now after a stuttering start to the year.
