Shipsupstreets
Re: England > Weekend > Rest of non-league Dec 10-11 Very quite session for me - only two takes: Hendon away at Tooting & Mitcham United (10/11 Corals) Gary McCann's Hendon have a good chance to build on a decent away record - three conceded on the road all season in the league. Recent form has been a touch iffy and they needed a late Junior Lewis goal to take them to pens against Uxbridge midweek in the Middlesex cup, but with some of the walking wounded coming back I think they'll be okay. It's a shame that Mark Beard has left Tooting, but it wasn't an easy situation down there, with off-the-field matters making the football side tricky. They have beaten Lowestoft at home but that's their only win and only Horsham have conceded more. Hendon to edge this for me. Frome Town at home to Evesham United (10/11 Corals) Backing a side that hasn't won at home since the opening day is a fingers-crossed matter, but I think Darren Perrin is getting right. Jake Harris is a cut above most of the strikers at this level and he notched the winner away at Arlesey midweek. Evesham's terrible form took a turn for the better with wins against Cambridge C and Hitchin, but they were poor at Arlesey last week and they have another crop of injuries to deal with that makes them light going into this one. New boss Matt Clarke doesn't have much to work with at the moment. I quite fancied following Kendal again this week, but I think the weather in Ashton will prove a leveller. I also wanted to back St Albans at Hitchin. They've brought Micah Hyde in and I think they look due for a run. But Hitchin have signed Inah Effiong (who was at St Albans last season - to add a bit of spice to this one), and an Effiong/Frendo strike force looks pretty decent. I also though of risking Thurrock at Eastleigh, with a crop of new Thurrock signings making this potentially interesting, but Easteigh have brought in Damien Scannell - they will be ones to watch when they get back to full strength. Shipsupstreets
Re: England > Weekend > Rest of non-league Dec 10-11 Middling results for me - Frome failed and Hendon won to give me a small loss.
