Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Dec 3-4 A couple of earylish plays for me... Marine away at Mickleover Sports (11/10 widespread) Mickleover scrapped for a point at Kendal in the wind and the rain last week, but the three goals conceded (the equaliser against ten men) will be more of a concern, as will the five conceded at Worksop last night and the three at home to Chasetown the week before. They are attacking fluently but constantly undone at the back, and Marine should be able to exploit this - they've one of the tightest defences in the section and they have the attacking options to exploit the home side's softish underbelly. Carshalton Athletic at home to Wingate & Finchley (Evs Bet365) There was always a question mark against Carshalton this season - the best squad in the section, managed by an owner of questionable footballing ability. Back in July it was clear they had the talent to win the title, but perhaps not the steady hand on the tiller. That has changed in recent weeks with a blend of players and formations that is starting to deliver - they are unbeaten in eight in all competitions. Wingate & Finchley are a capable side but they are a bit less capable than they were early season - the first two away games produced wins, but since then they've only taken three points from a possible 18 on the road. Evs is far too generous. Bashley away at Banbury United (7/4 Bet365) Bash are more comfortable on their travels than at home, it seems, and though they arrive with only one point from three away games they have had to face Leamington, Brackley and improving Hemel. Defensively there are worries, though they have an excellent attacking portfolio and I think they will be too strong for a Banbury that have only beaten Cirencester in six at home in the league and returned from Wealdstone in the Trophy replay with a thrashing. Kendal Town away at Stafford Rangers (19/10 Bet365) I'l risk Kendal again, though they were a let down last week. The only positive was the form of Jordan Connerton, who carried more threat than Kendal have been able to muster, and the fact that with ten men for the last 20 minutes they still attacked well. Stafford have been improving quietly through the autumn, but at home they have yet to get going - five draws and a defeat in the last six league games. New signings are bedding in, however, and I think they are ones to watch later in the season, but at the kind of price offered I'll risk the visitors. Cirencester Town away at Oxford City (9/2 widespread) A mad selection, but Oxford City - though stronger on paper than Ciren - are far too high in the table in my opinion. They haven't been at all impressive at home, with only a win against St Albans in four. They struggled against an out-of-sorts Hitchin and were outplayed in cup games by Mangotsfield and Redbridge (both from a step lower). Suspensions and injuries will hurt them this weekend, and though they beat North Leigh this week 1-0 in the Red Insure (with a full-strength side) I can see them being vulnerable. Ciren have often been terrible but they have had their moments recently - they might have got something at a play-off chasing Chesham and they held Hemel to a point last week. They've also come home with points from Barwell and Brackley, which are tricky places to go. There's little in the form table to suggest anything other than a home win, but I think Ciren's young side are better away from home where they can counter with pace and given Oxford's vulnerabilities I'll take a chance at 9/2. It's not, though, one for widows and orphans.

Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Dec 3-4 An extra tip from me this week and I was unlucky when I tried opposing Chorley when the news first came out of their off the field troubles but it seems things have got worse in the past few days and I really get the feeling that the current team will get broken up soon. http://www.lep.co.uk/sport/non_league_football_2_1864/financial_worries_engulfing_magpies_1_4025597 So I think FC United at 6/5 are worth a bet. They are in decent form anyway at the moment including beating Altrincham in the Trophy on Sunday. Given the Chorley news I think the 6/5 looks worth taking.

Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Dec 3-4 Not much value in the Ryman Premier so looking at combinations. I like Hornchurch (4/7)at Leatherhead, Cray (8/11)at Hornchurch, Hendon (8/13)at home to Aveley and Bury (4/6) at home to Tooting & Mitcham. All odds from Stan James may be a little extra value in shopping around.

Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Dec 3-4 Cheers Ships, followed you with singles on Marine & Carshalton. But bad news is backed with Corals, and now restricted there. Went to have a whopping €39 on Crawley to score in both halves at 8/13, and they referred it to a trader who came back offering 8/15!! That trader earned his wage today, looked to save them a whopping €3.20 on that bet!! :rollin Makes you wonder....., ah well, another account screwed :\

Re: England > Weekend > Northern, Southern & Ryman Prem Dec 3-4 Decent day at the office - longshots Ciren and Bashley both failed (Ciren creditably with a 0-0 and Bashley badly with a right tupping), but wins for Carshalton at Evs, Marine at 11/10 and Kendal at a cracking 19/10 made it a happy afternoon.
