Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December i was looking at laying lille. they have clearly missed their chance earlier to progress from this group and the last game against the resilient turks is not going to be an easy task who have done well and maybe only need a point to reach the next round. i think this one could be the surprise result of the night and the odds shouldn't be that high as lille in my opinion is only just above average french side and can be beatable here. the turks defence should hold up here looking at the recent games they do not give much away and one goal if they score would be enough to win.

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December Sport Football (Champions League) Event Barcelona - B. Borisov Selection B.Borisov +1.5 (Asian-handicap) Strength 10/10 Date 06/12/2011 Bookmaker/Price 10bet @ 2.16 Reasoning Barcelona not take this match serious and play in this game without all important players - since Valdes to Messi and Villa. Odds are wrong, third team of Barcelona is on the BATE Borisov level and this asian handicap look very safety for me. Guests start this match with bigger motivation, historical chance for the first away win in European Cups.. Belarus team +1.5 goals margin for me.

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December Don't usually like getting involved with the 6th Matchday of the Champions League but I've seen a double here that I like: - 6pts Team Goals Double: Bayer Leverkusen Over 1.5 (vs. Genk) x Valencia Over 0.5 (vs. Chelsea) @ 2.54 [Coral] Not much explanation needed here really. Bayer Leverkusen should handle Genk. They're away from home and have already qualified but will take a decent team to Belgium as they'll need to top their group. Genk are in the middle of a massive injury crisis too with several key players missing. Leverkusen's away record hasn't really been saying alot this year in the UCL but they have had to go to the Bridge and the Mestalla so they can be excused there. Genk stopped Valencia scoring and kept Chelsea to one this year but I see two goals for Leverkusen tomorrow in a pointless match for the Belgian side. I see a goal for Valencia too. Stamford Bridge is not the fortress it once was any more and I think Valencia will come out fighting tomorrow. Soldado and Jonas were rested on the weekend and Valencia know that if they score tomorrow, Chelsea are in serious trouble. There's mad pressure on Chelsea, alot of people calling for AVB's head. If Valencia score first theyre in a great position and there have been too many matches this season where Chelsea have looked susceptible at home. Away goal for me.

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December Borussia Dortmund v Olympique Marseille B.Dortmund needs a win in high score to qualif to the next round and it can be not enouge for qualif to the next round. If Arsenal draw , Dortmund must win 5:0 or higher, if Arsenal win, they must win 4:0 or higher. In this situation i think Olympique Marseille is more then lucky as Dortmund to win this game. Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December

Shakhtar @3.60 bet365 Shakhtar without single victory in group and have nothing to loose.Players will play for pride while APOEL already qualified and has no interest in this game.I see both teams playing open football it means Shakhtar's brazilians will have more space up front.Shakhtar finaly got good keeper-Rybka.Still some missing players in defence but if upfront will be on fire then i see nothing but away win.
Eh, I wouldn't say that they have no interest in the game. Yea, they're qualified .. but they'd much rather finish 1st then 2nd in the group. Having said that, 3.6 for Shakhtar does look pretty good. Amazing that APOEL was minutes away from being eliminated from the CL by Wisla Krakow and now they're on the verge of winning the group ..

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December Borussia Dortmund vs Marseille Over 2.5 @ 1.91 (Skybet) The reason I'm going for this bet is because of the precarious state of the group. It should be noted that Marseille are not by nature an attacking side, although Borussia Dortmund are. Marseille in their games against Arsenal were dull and defensive, and overall this season they are 10 vs 14 over/under. They also miss Gignac, from what I've read, who is one of their better attacking players I believe. However, both sides have to win this game, so we should see an open game with lots of goals. Marseille could go through with a point, but that would be relying on an under strength Arsenal with nothing to play for getting something at a decent Olympiakos side in front of a hostile home crowd. Olympiakos are odds on for that game so Marseille will know it would be foolish to rely on Arsenal. Dortmund need not only to win but to win by four goals (I think it is four), so they will attack from the start. There are a number of different permutations as to how this game will go but many scenarios involve one or both teams having to attack. At the start, naturally, Dortmund need to attack. If Dortmund score then both teams will have to go for it. If the score is level in the 2nd half but Olympiakos are winning then Marseille need to attack even if Dortmund have given up. There is even the scenario of Arsenal winning in Greece but Dortmund needing to win the game to get into the Europa League sport, even if they don't have enough time to score the four goals they need. And so on. Overall I see enough reason why there should be goals here, and in the circumstances the odds of 1.91 look decent.

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December Tuesday Champions League A few little bets i like. Arsenal vs Olympiakos - while yes Arsenal will be fielding a somewhat weak team and Olympiakos will be fired up for this in front of a hot home crowd. I think the value bet has to be Arsenal. Arsenal will still be fielding some good players, Vermaelan, Arshavin, Chu-Young, Rosicky, Chamberlin etc. They will be keen to impress and i don't think it will be too easy for the Greeks. With these odds i think its the best value. Arsenal to Win @ 4.25. The Arsenal or Draw result is also pretty good @ 1.88 Marseille vs Dortmund Interesting match, both teams will be going all out to win. Dortmund have hit some decent form at home and have a very passionate crowd urging them on. Should be a few goals however i see the Germans coming out on top, but the over under market has better odds. Over 2.5 @ 1.85. for a multi leg Dortmund to win @ 1.60 Leverkusen vs Genk Can see the germans winning this. Won't be easy as Genk are decent at home. However the germans know a win will give them top spot. I expect them to get it done. Bayer Leverkusen to win @ 1.50 BATE vs Barcelona Ok, now Barca are through, yes it will be a second string squad. BATE are rubbish away from home in european competition. Barca to win by 2 or more goals @ 1.44 Barca will win, and will score. If they can keep a clean sheet this bet will be a shoe in. Valencia vs Chelsea Huge game for Chelsea, they need something out of this. So do Valencia. The spanish are a very good team and are somewhat overlooked due to the 2 other spanish teams ahead of them in La Liga. Chelsea have some problems at the back and therefor not to confident of picking the result i will take. Both teams to score @ 1.85 Throw all of them in a multi and we are looking @ 13.89 (with Arsenal or Draw and over 2.5 in Dortmund) All prices from TAB Sportsbet Australia

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December Apoel Nicosia v Shakhtar Donetsk Over 2.5 - 2.05 @ Gamebookers. Apoel is already qualified and Shakhtar has nothing to play for. However, there is big money for wins in CL and both teams will be looking to get it, with APOEL probably resting one or two players. However, since only the pride and money are at stake, there is no need for a defensive game on either side, so I'm sure both teams will put on a show and with Shaktar's last 2 matches winning with 5-0!, I'm sure there will be goals in this match. Shaktar @ 3.25 might also be worth a punt but, again, even if Apoel is qualified, the home pride and money are a strong motivation for them to play top game so, in my opinion, either team can win here. Over seems the best bet for me. Bate Borisov to score - 1.95 @ Gamebookers. With a legendary match coming on Saturday against Real, Barcelona will not play some of it's key players. Bate has still something to play for (Europa League) so I see them able to score at least a goal here. They might not be able to win (although odds of 11 are worth a small shot) but I can see them at least scoring. I would advise everyone to stay away from Chelsea-Valencia tonight as Valencia is a team that can easily deliver a surprise. In all honesty I don't see any probable results here. I can only 'bet' that this will be a nice game to watch :)

And what happens if there is an unexpected goal in first 20 minutes? And what if Zenith will go for win instead or risking those last 10 minutes? From that reasoning I can't see under 2.5 having any value.
I wanted to ask the same...The Dragao will be ROCKING and Porto will be attacking from the first minute. When these two played in Russia, Porto scored early as well there. In both of they're other group games at home, v Apoel and v Shaktar, they also scored relatively early goals. Seems like it could be a dangerous wager because once/if a goal is scored, the other team will be looking to reply immediately.

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December Buy of Dortmund corners at 6.2 Dortmund V Marseille -spreadex Was undecided as to whether to buy total goals in this game but instead have gone for Dortmund corners. The downside seems minimal for a top quality German team who have to go for goals from the off roared on by arguably the noisiest crowd in Europe. Marseille have picked up in recent weeks but they may need to go for the win if Olympiakos are leading against a weakened Arsenal. This could open things up even more.

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December

Just 1 question. How many times did Napoli win away in CL?Answer-none. How many away games did Napoli win in last 6 away matches? Only 1 win against poor Inter. Yes,Villareal is sh*t right now but it's a bonus. They have nothing to worry about.they will play for a pride while napoli will be under pressure. @1.72 is a sh*t price. Going with a draw here @3.60
How can you play the draw in this game when Villareal are playing for nothing except for pride?? I have serious doubts that Villareal will put any effort into this game. I'm also considering the fact that in September, Giuseppe Rossi was about to accept the transfer to Napoli. De Laurentis, Napoli president, said in more than one occasion that if Napoli were to pass to the next round, he would touch up the team with important investments in January. I actually already believe that Villareal and Napoli have reached an agreement for the Rossi transfer in January. So therefore the solid friendship between the 2 teams.... Also on Spanish newspapers everyone is saying that Napoli coach will go to Villareal next year. Napoli will go to the Madrigal with determination, hunger and to prove to everyone that they are not in CL to waiste time... They have the team to win. Man City tied in the last minutes when napoli paid a visit to them (1-1). With Bayern Napoli lost 3-2..But I think that in that period anyone that played against Bayern would've had problems...different from today's Bayern where physical form is going down. This could be the first away game that Napoli will win in this CL... The "political reasons" which I wrote about yesterday were just a parody on Uefa's way of operating...I would although dare anyone to deny some of the things I said as they represent lots of truths...

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December

To tell yu the truth my brother; the only team that sucks in this group is Lille. I just see an overestimated team with your comment guessing that you didn't watch any of the game of this group. Trabzon has deserved all of the four points against Inter. (by the way, just to correct you, it is not 2 but 4 points) CSKA match,Trabzon was the guest; that's just a question of last 15 minutes. Well; i was at the stadium for the match of Lille, nothing special to me by the guest side. Be careful with your Lille picks my friends (Trabzon will be a very defending team, the magnificient goalkeeper Tolga Zengin and please check the aftermatch comments of Inter coach), the only choice for this game, that is very logic, should be Underish. Trabzon will definitely play for the tie and i don't see a CSKA side winning at Guiseppe Meazza. Under will be a perfect pick for this game, believing that Trabzon will get a good result for the last sixteen... BİZE HER YER TRABZON...:clap (BahisAnaliz BA)
How can you objectively not back up Lille... I'm thinking that you have only watched the Trabzonspor games and none of the rest... 1 - LILLE ARE HOME SIDE AND THE METROPOLE IS AN EXTREMELY HARD STADIUM TO PLAY. 2 - TRAB ARE 5TH., IN THE TURKISH LEAGUE AND IN THE LAST 3 GAMES THEY HAVE TIED TWICE AND LOST ONCE. TIED TO TWO TEAMS OF POOR VALUE AND LOST TO BESIKTAS. 3 - TRAB ARE NOT EVEN SUPPOSED TO BE PLAYING THIS COMPETITION. REMEMBER WHY THEY ARE PLAYING??? 4 - THE ONLY PERSON THAT MIGHT INFLUENCE THE GAME IS YILMAZ...BUT THEN AGAIN IF I LOOK AT LILLE, THERE ARE A LOT MORE PLAYERS THAT MIGHT INFLUENCE THE GAME. THE GAME CAN ALSO END WITH UNDER I AGREE WITH YOU, BUT I'M SURE LILLE IS GOING TO WIN. INTER IS NOT GOING TO PLAY WITH THE ENTIRE TEAM AS THEY ARE ALREADY FIRST NO MATTER WHAT. CSKA IS GOING TO PLAY AN ULTRA-OFFENSIVE GAME BECAUSE IF THEY WIN AND LILLE TIES THEY CAN PASS TO THE NEXT ROUND. INTER HAS BEEN PLAYING EXTREMELY BAD IN THE LAST GAMES, WHY WOULD ANOTHER DEFEAT SURPRISE YOU SO MUCH??

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December Porto - Zenit Both teams were not so good in this year's Champions League and now will fight for the last place in the Round of 16. Referee for this game is Spaniard is Carlos Velasco Carballo. Upon checking the recent games he was in charge of I have noticed that he shows plenty of cards. In the last 6 games he was in charge of (excluding the friendly between Ukraine and Germany where he showed just 2 yellow cards) he produced at least 6 yellow cards in each game and a red card was shown in 3 games. Taking into account how much is at stake for both sides I have decided to go with the cards market. Over 65 Booking Points @ 2.40 (3 units) William Hill

And what will happen if Zenith play as we are expecting them to play...defend the point they need which is far more logical??? Porto are not the same of last year. I hope you agree on this as it's proven by concrete evidence. Falcao is a big miss up in front. Hulk cannot play alone. Also in the previous game Porto scored in the last 5 minutes against Shaktar Donetsk which are more or less on the same level of Zenith. I see Zenith very very solid. I'm going for under 2.5 goals, AND VERY CONFIDENT that Spalletti is going to play the game "Italian style": Let's buckle up in the back and counter when Porto are attacking. This will be the key of the game. I really hope my multiple is a winning one and that all the punters of this forum might make an earning from it. I have done much thinking before posting..the only sure thing in life is that we are all going to die sooner or later, better later and that NAPOLI IS GOING TO WIN AGAINST VILLAREAL!

Different bookies have different system but at William Hill it is 10 point for yellow card and 25 for red. Maximum 35 per player, so let's say if a player is shown a yellow card, then another yellow which turns into red it is counted as 35 points and not 45. For this bet to win there should be at least 7 yellow cards or 5 yellow and 1 red card for example.

Generally speaking, i like to avoid matchday 6 because most of the games are hard to predict. however, i agree with your analysis on the marsielle v dortmund game, and the barce game. aside from that, arsenal dont have anything to play for but are a decent team, so i think picking an outright result for this game. I reckon both teams to score @ 1.91 or over 2.5 goals @ 2.16 are much safer bets as olympiakos will be looking to win, and arsenal should be able to put at least one in. but in general, id stay away from this match prices from sportsbet australia

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December Dortmund - Marseille I saw the 1st leg in Marseille which ended 3-0 for the french but this game could have also ended 0-3 in favour of Borussia Dortmund cause they were by far the better side. Since then I was looking forward to the rematch in Germany. Now its a little bit difficult to predict cause Dortmund needs a victory with at least 4 goals and some parallel help from Arsenal. But I'm pretty sure that Olympique at she start will try to defend, and sneak a goal on a counterattack like they did in the 3-0 victory at home. Dortmund on the other side will probably play very offensive from the beginning and as far as I estimate they abilities they will crack Marseilles defense very early and many times tonight. I'm not sure yet which picks I will take, I'm thinking of Dortmund AH -1.5 OVER 2.5 goals OVER 3.5 goals and maybe a small punt on Dortmund to Qualify (odds around 30 @ betfair) @Zlatan: You can thank me with reducing the usage of different Colors, different font-sizes and Capitals in your postings.

Zlatan had suggested to post something interesting. For Dortmund to qualify they would need some sort of miracle from God in Germany and another one from Zeus in Greece.

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December Very tough games in my opinion in this last round of group stages and we will see many surprises. I'll have a go or handicap on Valencia, Marseille, Shakhtar, Bayern Munich, Tranbzonspor.. I think all of those have a good chance of producing a surprise and the value they have on their head is way too high. Anyway, back to some serious stuff, I'll be taking following triple with higher stake for me. Genk vs. Bayern Leverkusen - Away Win @ 1,55 Bayern is probably tonight's banker and I really hope it won't be a public bet and they won't struggle against a Genk side which is hit by injuries, is playing poor soccer lately losing also in Belgium and was trashed 7:0 by Valencia. I don't see Genk bringing up another surprise as they did with Chelsea and if Leverkusen will go to Belgium to win, they should just do that. Basel vs. Manchester United - Away Win or Draw @ 1,11 Poor odds but that is what Manchester will need. Even tho' I fancy them to win this I'll just take them also on double chance as Basel already produced a surprise when playing against Manchester. I personally don't see a side like Manchester losing in front of Basel and the English side should be some classes above the Swiss one. Plzen vs. AC Milan - Away Win or Draw @ 1,33 Great price on Milan to win and I don't see why they should not do so. I know they are qualified but that doesn't mean they will not play today to get a good result. I've watched Milan play last Friday and they dominated in attack and created good scoring chances. Plzen probably knows Bate will lose at Barcelona anyway so they shouldn't be worried too much. I don't see Milan losing against a side such as Plzen as that would not be good for their image and a win is probably best result to hold to their momentum. The double chance is good market for my triple and I'll take it based upon Milan's last game in which I was impressed by their game. Triple @ 2,25 on those three games is my main ticket in Champions League. I know it's not only games form today but since my triple will have two games today and one tomorrow I decided to throw it here :) Good luck all today and lots of money!! :cheers

ADD THE INGREDIENTS AND YOU HAVE A PICTURE PERFECT PIE @ 10.78 !!:clap

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December I do like Zlatan4Ever style of posting. He`s bringing something fresh and different in the forum. So let`s everyone focus on how to make money than what colour the posts are. I put my eye on 2 games tonight and i`ll post my opinion. Porto - Zenith I see a home win here, a must win game for Porto. Yes "must" does not mean it will happen for sure, but i`m full of confidence that Porto will take what they need here. It was real shock after the first 4 games for Porto to have only 4 points so they buckle up and took the 3 vital points in Donetsk. A win today can even give them the 1st place in the group if AEK lose from Donetsk. Zenith defence is not that hard imo so 0-0 draw is out of the question. Chelsea-Valencia Same situation here, chelsea need a win to qualify and they can even top the group. No doubt Valencia will try anything to score at least once witch will cause a lot of problems for Chelsea. IMO the blues are getting out of that little crisis they where in. Last weekend win against Newcastle will surely give them confidence for tonight and will give AVB some fresh air. I expect a home win tonight. Porto+Chelsea @ 2.83 :ok

Mate, remember that the more selections you got the chance for winning gets lower and lower. Yes, if you win this will be great but how often does that happen :) Good luck with that pick. About your pick for BTS in chelsea game, as i wrote a minute ago - valencia will do anything to score at least once, but i`m not sure they will do it.

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December @Don Bratwurst I'm not saying the game can't finish 3-0 or 4-0 for Dortmund. What I'm saying is that for Dortmund TO QUALIFY, (not DORTMUND TO WIN WITH MORE GOALS as you misunderstood) they would need a double miracle because not only must they win with more goals, but the result in Greece is at the same importance. That is why I was saying post something interesting..because for Dortmund to qualify I see only the impossible. I agree with you that Zlatan must correctly write team names. But he wrote Leverkusen next to his type error (BAYERN and not BAYER)... I think 99.99% of the people would've understood what he meant. Also because someone that's into betting knows who Genk is playing against otherwise they wouldn't have found this forum.....

Re: UEFA Champions League > Tuesday 6th December Porto v Zenit. Over 2.5 goals. 1.92 @ Nordicbet (6/10) Simple task for Porto. Only a win will do so we can expect fireworks @ Dragao. An early goal obviously would give this bet a boost. Porto scored after 10 minutes when these two met in Russia. Despite talking the nonsense about winning, Zenit will play for a draw, I believe. So counting on Porto to get it going as early as possible. Zenit have conceded two goals in each of their two away matches thus far. Porto certainly won't fire blanks. Overs for me in this one.
