Re: England > Weekend > BlueSQ Bet Prem Nov 26 The spread companies have yet to price up the Kettering game but there is a spread that appeals today - a sell of the 2nd Wrexham goal at 72 (Sporting, Spreadex). Braintree were opposed last week, when I argued that the signing of Dean Wells signalled a desperate change to Alan Devonshire's favoured MO from his Hampton days. A sending off for Matt Paine spoiled that but we may well see it today. His 4-4-2, which has served him well this season, has basically been found out; if they stick with that today, Wrexham have the weapons to pull it apart; if they change to a five with Wells doing the policeman role, there's a good chance it will misfire for a few matches as they bed in with a new way of playing. Wrexham will be content with a 1-0, and are capable of defending that, so the trade carries a risk but there is some upside if Braintree are in anything like the mess they were in against Forest Green.

kettering v grimsby : 5 players have left the poppies ' date=' there is an embargo preventing stimson from fielding his recent loan signings , walker is suspended , the best of the youth players played with neighbours rothwell town last saturday ( lost 5 - 0 ) . while 1.57 on betfair looks short i cannot see kettering win this . however the more profitable approach is over 2.5 goals currently trading at 1.71 on betfair , ketterings 11 home games this season have seen 39 goals scored ![/quote'] You clearly havent read the rest of this thread about the game but welcome to the party.

One of Kettering's players has tweeted that people will be shocked by the team news this afternoon. No idea if thats good shock or bad shock though.
Probably Imran Ladak at centre forward:loon. One spread play for me is a buy of Paul Clayton's goal minutes at 21 with Sporting Index. From Alfreton's match report of their draw at Gateshead last week Clayton was clearly in the thick of things and could well have added to the goal he scored: http://www.alfretontownfc.com/info/reports.asp?repID=522 Clayton was the one bright (and impressive) spot for thuggish Alfreton when they visited Harriers early this season, and he should have a few opportunities against Hayes' shocking defence this afternoon in a game that both sides will be desperate to win.

That late kettering goal has cost me a fair bit of money. The team wasn't as weak as it looked like it might have been at 1 stage but its a weak team for the league and everyone who is left at the club who could play did play. Sent from my HTC Desire S using PL Forum

FGR @ 11/10...dnb....willy hilly...stakes...2/10....I'd be interested to hear what you experts think of this one with York missing their top man Walker(15 goals) and their midfield general Boucaud. Will Ashikodi make up for this or do the home team have a chance to at least get a point??
1-1, money back and well done to all the Grimsby backers....

Kettering v Grimsby - GRIMSBY WIN @ 2.6 Sorry for quoting like that, but to read that and still be able to get 2.6 on Grimsby is a must-bet for me. I've been negative reading stories about Kettering for a few weeks and this has been reflected in their poor form. Grimsby have a poor away record but should be able to take advantage of the situation; they are also unbeaten in 5, having just won a massive match against Port Vale in the FA Cup. They have also won the last 3 meetings with Kettering.
Happy days! :ok
