Re: Short Priced Favs Tetlami 12.55 Kempton 17Pt Win @ 1.36 (BOG) Menorah landed this race at cramped odds 12 months ago before going onto bigger and better things at Aintree that very same season, and TETLAMI bids to follow in similar footsteps. Two from two at this track over hurdles (2m), the son of Daylami finished ninth in the Supreme Novices' Hurdle last term before running a decent race in Grade 2 company when bowing out at Ayr and that form is the best on offer.

Re: Short Priced Favs Corrin Wood 13.50 Kelso 17 Pt Win @ 1.2 (BOG) CORRIN WOOD might not have achieved a great deal when winning with ease at Carlisle last month but his previous second to Gevrey Chambertin reads very well and he should take plenty of beating this afternoon.

Re: Short Priced Favs Too Generous 14.40 Plumpton 18Pts Win @ SP Too Generous is expected to go off a warm order for this novices' event having scored in style at Fontwell on Boxing Day and David Pipe's charge should go very close under a winner's penalty.

Re: Short Priced Favs Sash of Honour 13.30 Lingfield 18Pts Win @ 1.3 There should be no need to look beyond SASH OF HONOUR here. A decent handicapper on the level, Tim Vaughan's charge finished well clear of the third when chasing home a useful-looking sort on his hurdling debut at Newbury last month, an experience that is sure to have brought him on, and he has less on his plate today.

He is an established French recruit, who could well have more to offer for Paul Nicholls, and he can put his experience to good use.

Re: Short Priced Favs Shutthefrontdoor 16.20 Wincanton 18Pts Win @ 1.2 (BOG) Big Casino merits consideration on his hurdling debut after readily winning a Ludlow bumper first time out, but SHUTTHEFRONTDOOR should prove a cut above these rivals. This high-class bumper performer left a surprise defeat on his hurdling bow well behind when bolting up at Uttoxeter the last day and he is fancied to add this prize to his collection before being set stiffer assignments in the near future.

Re: Short Priced Favs Sprinter Sacre 13.50 Cheltenham 18 Pts Win @ 1.17 (BOG) It's impossible to look past SPRINTER SACRE in the feature event. Nicky Henderson's star gelding is one of the most exciting horses in training and it's very hard not to be impressed with the way he travels and jumps. He should have few problems taking his chase record to seven from seven today.

Re: Short Priced Favs Module 14.30 Leicester 18 Pts Win @ SP - if near a computer tomorrow will take a price. MODULE notched in a Cheltenham handicap hurdle when making his first start for Tom George in January last year and, having since gained the scalp of Colour Squadron in a better race at Newbury over the larger obstacles, he's tough to look past.

Re: Short Priced Favs Thunderstorm 14.20 Towcester 18 Pts Win @ 1.67 (BOG) Up 5lb for scoring at Leicester when last sighted, it is very tough to look past THUNDERSTORM. Philip Hobbs' charge arrives on a hat-trick and the son of Milan won with something up his sleeve when running out a cosy two-length winner at the Midlands track. The eight-year-old has clearly had his problems in the past but Hobbs has worked wonders in getting this gelding back to full fitness and there should be more to come in the way of improvement after just eight career starts.

Re: Short Priced Favs Hidden Justice 13.40 Catterick 18 Pts Win @ 1.62 (BOG) HIDDEN JUSTICE could barely have been more impressive when making a winning hurdles debut at Wetherby in December and he could prove tough to beat despite his penalty this afternoon.

He will prove very tough to beat this afternoon, providing the longer trip does not catch him out.

Re: Short Priced Favs Overturn 13.00 Musselburgh 3 Pts Win @ 1.25 Last year's Champion Hurdle runner-up OVERTURN has not put a foot wrong in his two runs over fences this season and Donald McCain's class act can take this en route to the Cheltenham Festival.

Re: Short Priced Favs Utopie Des Bordes 13.20 Doncaster 3 Pts Win @ 1.29 (BOG) Call Me A Star can return to form on the quickest ground she has encountered this season, but UTOPIE DES BORDES should take some stopping in receipt of 6lb. The five-year-old mare was snapped up for 255,000 euros by powerful connections shortly after her Grade 1 chase victory over the Arkle-bound Fago at Auteuil in November (sixth and seventh have also won since) and she looks sure to mount a bold bid on her UK debut.

Re: Short Priced Favs Eduard 13.50 Carlisle 3 Pts Win @ SP EDUARD was just over three lengths behind Melodic Rendezvous when conceding 6lb to the winner at Cheltenham in December. The latter went on to land the Grade 1 Tolworth Hurdle at Sandown while fifth Mr Watson has won twice since so the form looks very solid and Nicky Richards' promising novice should recapture the winning thread here.
