Nowhere near a computer yesterday so starting a day late.

Simply Loveleh 15.25 Huntingdon 3 Pts Win @ 13\8 (bog)

Very promising start for Robert Stephens in listed Market Rasen bumper in January, keeping on. Failed to land the odds for Dan Skelton at Uttoxeter recently but this probably a good opening.

2nd - Tracked leader until 10f out, stayed handy, led 2f out, headed over 1f out, not pace of winner

Lil Rockerfeller 14.20 Exeter 2 Pts Win @ 2\9 (bog)

Very tough smart hurdler who has won both starts over fences, though far from convincing at Cheltenham (3m) last time, mistakes and just doing enough. Headgear back on now and this looks his to lose.

1st @ 4\11 - Made most, driven 2 out, drew clear before last, pushed out, readily

Thomas Campbell 15.20 Ludlow 1 Pt Win @ 4\11 (bog)

Smart staying hurdler. Perfectly satisfactory start to his chase career when fourth in a good race at Cheltenham and hard to beat even though this test is sharper than ideal.

1st @ 4\7 - Made all, clear 2nd until before 5th, pushed along briefly paddock bend after 9th, clear after 4 out until last, just shaken up and always doing enough

Mengli Khan 13.55 Punchestown 3 Pts Win @ 4\5 (bog)

Smart hurdler. 11/2, creditable 9¼ lengths third of 10 to Draconien in Champion Novices' Hurdle at this course (16.4f, good to soft). Not bred for chasing but respected on smart hurdles form.

Vinnie Lewis 15.30 Ayr 3 Pts WIn @ 1.36 (bog)

Developed into a useful staying handicap chaser last winter and made hay in this sphere when making all in 3m Southwell novice hurdle last month. Can follow up with prospect of an uncontested lead.

La Bague Au Roi 13.50 Newbury 2 Pts  Win @ 11\8 (bog)

1st @ 11\8 - Jumped well, made all, over 2 lengths ahead and going strongly when left clear 3 out, unchallenged

Style De Vole 11.50 Newcastle 1 Pt Win @ 2\5 (bog)

Half-brother to useful hurdler/chaser Style de Garde. Won sole Flat outing in France and he's clearly a very interesting runner for his new connections.

Apples Jade 14.40 Fairyhouse 3 Pts Win @ 5\6 (bog)

Very smart hurdler. Didn't need to be at best when winning 6-runner Lismullen Hurdle at Navan (20f, good to soft, evens) 21 days ago by 11 lengths from Jezki, staying on well. Hard to beat.

1st @ 5\6 - Tracked leader in 2nd and raced clear of remainder, improved to dispute lead 3 out, led travelling well entering straight, pushed along and clear 2 out, stayed on strongly run-in, easily

General Custard 12.50 Market Rasen 3 Pts Win @ 5\4 (bog)

Green in bumpers but returned with a bang when making second hurdles start a winning one at Warwick (2m) in October. Similar form both starts since at up to 3m and this shorter trip should suit.

Troubled Soul 13.10 Sedgefield 3 Pts Win @ 5\4 (bog)

Confirmed promise of Chepstow run when scoring with plenty in hand at Kelso (21.6f) last month. Encounters slower conditions on this occasion but she's a player on that evidence.

Non Runner

Lalor 13.50 Sandown 3 Pts Win @ 1.83 (bog)

Landed Grade 1 hurdle at Aintree in April and produced a scintillating display to make it first time lucky over fences in Arkle Trial last month, quickening impressively. Very much one to keep on side

Morning Xtc, with your rules, what do you do if the selection drifts alarmingly like Troubled Soul did yesterday?  Brilliant work mate

Hi Ratso thanks for taking time to pop in. Its pot luck I have no control over the odds/bets so just have to go along with it.

3rd - Held up, slow 3rd, headway under pressure after 4 out, chased leaders next, stayed on into 3rd approaching last, never on terms

Great Field 13.45 Cork 1 Pt Win @ 4\7 (bog)

Promising type. Career best when winning 6-runner Webster Cup Chase at Navan (16f, heavy, 11/8) by 1¾ lengths from Doctor Phoenix, always holding on. Off 8 months. Chance is there for all to see.
