Shipsupstreets Posted October 3, 2011 Author Share Posted October 3, 2011 Re: England > Midweek > FA Cup replays, Southern & Ryman Prem Oct 3-5 Stourbridge at home to Banbury United (10/11 Skybet) Stourbridge have been solid at home, with four wins and a 0-0 with Leamington - they have kicked on since last season and added a steeliness to their play which will give them every chance of finishing top 5. Banbury United - a generally youthful squad who've been put together over the summer - started the season impressively but they've been second best in the last two league games, with defeats at home to Chesham and Cambridge City. They didn't play on Saturday because they were knocked out of the cup by Slough. 10/11 Stourbridge is more generous than I can make the price. At least they got the tip right..got a decent sized amount on Billericay at home to Hastings tonight, odds are probably too skinny for most at 1.62 (coral) but having watched Hastings a couple of times recently they are truely dire..not been horrendous at the back but mostly been playing poor sides, I think they will ship a fair few goals against better sides, watched them against Cray (0-3) and they carry virtually no goal threat, manager has admitted as much and is trying to get someone in but no luck as yet, even went as far as saying he wishes he could 'shove batteries up some of them, so I could remote control them and get them to do even the most simple of things correctly', club is in financial problems with a chairman who won't leave and dramatically falling gates. Billericay are going well with 5 wins in 6 and have won their last few away from home getting into the 3rd Qual round of the cup in the process, first game at home for a while and they need to keep in touch at the top. The danger possibly lies with a Hastings side that will be happy to sit back for long periods and try and hit on the break but they are a poor side and Billericay are knocking in goals for fun and have a near full strength side, if Hastings have to chase the game it will probably be a massacre..predicting 3 or 4-0.
