Ive gone for one drawn high and one drawn low one Irish trained one English trained prices arn't the biggest for such a big handicapp i prefer bigger for e/w betting but beggars can't choosers so a win & e/w for me. TATLIUS~One of two Richard Fahey trained runners the other not without a chance but i much favour this horse has been very consistent since June has gone up 10lb in the weights since then but some cracking runs last one being in the St Wilfred at Ripon last month when 3rd to Out Do who also runs her . Tatlius looks sure to run another big race here off same mark and deserves to pick up a big pot in one of these top handicap races. ZALTY~ Ran really well at york in July when travelled to England for a 30 grand race not so good lto when back on the AW will prefer here has run very well on two outings here will need a bit of luck in running in this big field but has a turn of foot and will be running on late. Dont know why but quite like look of Dandy's supposed 3rd string horse Fitz Flyer with Fanning piloting. But what do I know. Good luck Ted, always enjoy looking at your horse choices. No not a Rag on this occasion but 12/1 isnt to be sniffed at besides there will be loads more rags up here probably sooner than later. Wouldn't put you off Fitz Flyer at all being a Nicholls third string means nothing in these big handicaps he wins with plenty of them. I put FF up on this thread lto was a poor run but is much better than that and 40's does look very big. Don't like the look of much of the rest of them but if you forced to pick a RAG it would be Showboating at 33's on a good mark and interestingly dropped back to 6f. RM looks a solid e/w chance (i'm going for the win) on form ran well in C4 12 grand race lto dropping to this grade should go very close Trainer & Jock have had a couple of winners this month. EC loves it here and is back on a decent looking mark & has 5lb claimer on top 10/1 was way to big now 15/2 at best also drops a grade from last time which is a plus only slight negative is the ground o bit of cut would have been ideal still looks to have a decent e/w shout

Tedthewolf
Re: The Return of Ted's "Bag A Rag" ( Again) QUICK WIT 40/1~I know this is a massive field but 40/1 with 5 places up for grabs for this horse from the boys in blue yard looks mega value to me. QW has not been in best form so far this year but stable hitting winners now horse as been freshened & slipped to a very attractive handicap mark and Hughes has a 40% strike rate for Trainer @ 40's more than willing to part with some of my hard earned doe as this horse looks to have a great chance IMO. CHANCERY 40/1~One at the lower end of the weights trainer knows the time of day in handicaps and drops this horse to 9f for the first time & his horses are in fine fettle at present.
