Shipsupstreets
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Sept 12-14 Not much out yet, but I think Titanbet have Chelmsford City far too far out at 2.5. No wins at home for Chelmsford, but on their travels they have won at Hampton, Eastbourne and Havant, scoring ten in the process. Staines Town's only win this season was a scratchy one at home to a depleted Boreham Wood, and they were off the boil again yesterday away at Farnborough, with only one spell on top near the end. I didn't have a mind to bet on this game, partly because Chelmsford can't keep playing that well on the road, but mainly because I didn't expect to see a price as far out as 6/4. My own price is 11/10.
Shipsupstreets
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Sept 12-14 AFC Hornchurch away at Aveley (6/5 Skybet) It hasn't been the chirpiest of starts by Aveley, with four draws, no wins and a couple of thumpings, including one by Lewes yesterday. Their last home game was a limp performance against Leatherhead, though they managed to guts out a point. AFC Hornchurch have been up and down, with a defeat to Horsham their early-season low point, but since then they have been much better: a narrow defeat at Lowestoft, an excellent away dismantling of Met Police and a 6-0 thrashing of Tooting. Ex-Aveley star Martin Tuohy is getting amongst the goals and Jonathan Hunt has put in some eye-catching displays in midfield. The defense is looking a lot more solid since the arrival of Joe Anderson. Man for manI reckon a buoyant AFC Hornchurch will have too much for an Aveley side that has forgotten how to win. Shipsupstreets
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Sept 12-14 Swindon Supermarine away at Redditch United (3/1 VCbet) A risky play, but the sudden change of management at Redditch - and the short-term inevitable disruption to the first team - suggests to me that Swindon might have a chance here. Redditch haven't really got going this season, and with one point in the last five the suggestion is the squad needs more than a token makeover. Swindon haven't exactly got an embarrassment of riches to choose from, but after three heavy defeats at the start of the season, there are definite signs of improvement, with a win and a draw in the last two and a real sense that the squad is gelling. 3/1 is too far out for me - though on paper Redditch deserve to be favourites, they should not be this far out. Chesham United away at Banbury United (2/1 Skybet) I'm sticking with the policy of opposing Banbury, despite their superb showing at Evesham (when I tipped Evesham). The main reason is that I can't make Chesham this far out. A hundred per cent at home, Chesham have bagged a single point away, but performances have clearly deserved more than that. Banbury's best work thus far in an impressive season has been away, and last time out at home they were fortunate to come out of the Hemel game 0-0. Chesham should be much closer in the betting. Elsewhere, I'm looking at a couple of plays in the Northern, but that depends on team news. In the Ryman, Billericay Town and Lowestoft Town look a decent double - they play Concord Rangers and Harrow Borough respectively.
lm345
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Sept 12-14 Droylsden v Hyde Skybet have priced Hyde at 11/8 which I think is a good value play for a team who have won all their away games without conceding a goal. Droylsden aren't terrible at home by any means and perhaps Hyde are due a loss/draw but odds like these seem too good to refuse for a team with a 100% record. Shipsupstreets
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Sept 12-14 Interesting to note that Betfair have a market on Aveley/Hornchurch tonight. Only £588 matched, but it's a start I suppose.
sportxtipster
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Sept 12-14 Telford vs Luton Town Luton are yet to find a win away from home. The draw has been the result that came out 3 times. Telford has been pretty poor so far and if Brabin wants to get promotion, must put his lads on winning ways away from home. With Danny Crow, Morgan-Smith and Fleetwood in fantatsic form, seems that they will finally make it. away win @ 1.91 with Pinnacle Sports

Shipsupstreets
Re: England > Midweek > Non-league Sept 12-14 Decent enough midweek session for me: Chelmsford were a failure, and the double missed, but Chesham and Swindon came home at punchy price to make for a good return, with Hornchurch winning last night. Good calls by sportxtipster on Luton and lm345 on Hyde tonight.
