They opened the season with a strong victory away from home winning 1-4 versus Girona. The same cannot be said about promoted club Real Murcia who lost their first game at home 1-3 versus Celta Vigo. I expect Elche to have a very good chance for promotion this time around as well and given the way they played their first league match, I have no problems backing them to get the win at home versus newly promoted Real Murcia.

Re: Spain - Liga Adelante - 3-4 September Xerez - CD Guadalajara__________Xerez [email protected] Stake 10/10 Guadalajara´s second match in liga adelante, comes from 2ªB, they have 8 players can not play respect last year, important players for the team, so think they will miss them so much and playing away too. Xerez is a stronger team from liga adelante, much experience in this division, and they have a big stadium, so teams who plays normally in small stadiums like guadalajara will feels that.

Re: Spain - Liga Adelante - 3-4 September Not sure Elche are such a good bet myself. Murcia may only just have got promoted, but traditionally the Segunda division is about their level, and in fact until last season they'd spent the previous 10 seasons floating between Primera and Segunda. Their defeat against Celta is no disgrace, Celta are one of the top sides in the division (as are Elche, admittedly), and Murcia according to reports were on top against them for much of the first half before fading in the second. Elche v Murcia is also a local derby. Elche may well win, but I certainly wouldn't write off Murcia's chances. Good luck though.
