Re: MLB: August 30th Picks Toronto -1.5 @ 2.41 pinnacle Cecil is 4-7, with a 4.42 ERA as he has allowed 3 runs or less in 7 of his last 10 starts, which includes 8 runs in his last 5 road starts. He has a 3.06 ERA on the road compared to a 5.68 ERA at home, and faces a Baltimore side where he has gone 3-0 with a 2.19 ERA in his last 4 starts. An added advantage is that they have not see him this season. Guthrie is 6-16, with a 4.42 ERA as he has allowed at least 4 runs in 5 of his last 10 starts, including 3 of his last 4 starts, while also allowing 21 runs in his last 5 home starts (he has a 4.95 ERA at home). He has gone 2-7 in 17 games against Toronto as he allowed 6 runs in the 7-4 home loss to them in June and then later that month pitched much better on the road, as he allowed 1 hit in the 4-3 win over them. Both teams have little to play for, but Cecil is pitching better and they do seek to finish better than .500 for the season, so like them to do nough here to win the game. Oakland -1.5 @ 2.38 pinnacle Cahill is 9-12, with a 4.13 ERA as he has allowed 3 runs or less in 7 of his last 10 starts, and like him to continue on from pitching well against the NY Yankees in his last start. He is 2-1 with a 3.06 ERA against Cleveland and allowed 1 run in the 3-1 home win over them in May this year. The Indians have quite a few of their batters out injured so that shold help him contain them. Gomez is 0-2, with a 5.70 ERA as he allowed 5 runs in his last start, last month against Baltimore. He did allow 1 run in the 4-3 win over Oakland in May, but now that they have seen him, like them to score some runs here. LA Dodgers -1.5 @ 2.58 pinnacle Kuroda is 10-14, with a 2.92 ERA as he has allowed 3 runs or less in 9 of his last 10 starts, with 7 runs allowed in his last 4 home starts. He has allowed just 3 runs in going 3-0 in his last 4 starts against San Diego, as he allowed just 4 hits in the 1-0 road win voer themearlier this mnth. He has been receiveing some run support of late, and like him to do well again here, especially as SD have been having problems scoring. Stauffer is 8-10, with a 3.42 ERA as he has allowed 3 runs or less in 7 of his last 10 starts but has given up 20 runs in his last 4 road starts. He is 1-1 with a 1.89 ERA in 3 starts against the Los Angeles Dodgers this year, and allowed just 6 hits in the 3-0 home win over them earleir this month, but now on the road, and with the Dodgers hitting well, like them to score some runs on him.
