Just a quick tip for this game tonight. Shamrock Rovers are putting out a very strong team against one of the weaker Premier Division teams in UCD. Only a few weeks ago Rovers beat UCD 6-0 at home, and they will likely score a lot of goals again tonight. I recommend a Shamrock Rovers -2.0 AH which you can find for 1.95 with Betfair. Good luck if you choose to take this tip!

Re: Irish FAI Cup 4th round: Shamrock Rovers -v- UCD Slow start indicates they were still in relax mood from the celebrations. Rovers finally got going in the second half and were cruising at 2-0. Then they conceded to a sub who came on a livened up the game, and then lost a man to a sending off for a professional foul and conceded from the free. Sorry... although Shamrock Rovers should have cruised home at 2-0!

Re: Irish FAI Cup 4th round: Shamrock Rovers -v- UCD UCD vs Shamrock Rovers Away side is looking to get the qualification in the next phase of the competition - FAI Cup. In the first leg the game ended in a shocking draw, 2-2 so now we have a replay. Now Shamrock will put all their efforts in a confident win, knowing the trouble they had in the first game. Shamrock is the best team in the League while UCD is one of the worst. Away side should win here with a bigger goal difference. away -1.25 AH @ 1.94 with 188bet

I would be careful here mate, as Rovers may not play a full team. I listened to an interview from their manager Michael O'Neill last week where he clearly gave the Cup as his 3rd priority (after League and Europa League). They also have a number of injury doubts tonight. Having said that, UCD have a number of doubts as well, and had what must of been an energy sapping epic match on Sat night. They won 5-4 having lead 2-0 and then trailed 4-2. This is a preview from extratime.ie : UCD and Shamrock Rovers will both be looking to build on their respective league victories yesterday when the two sides meet in the FAI Ford Cup Fourth Round Replay in the UCD Bowl on Monday night. (Kick off, 7.45pm) After drawing 2-2 in Tallaght Stadium just under a week ago UCD will now host the league leaders as both teams look to advance into the next round of the cup. The Student’s came back from two goals down in the last meeting between the Dublin clubs to secure a second bite at the cherry. Martin Russell’s side are feeling the effects of last night’s nine goal thriller as they could be without four key men for the visit of last year’s finalists. Sean Harding (knee), Ger Barron (neck) and David O’Connor (Hamstring) are all doubtful and Ciaran Nangle (shin) will definitely miss this one. Russell stressed that his side are confident going into the replay. “We proved we can match Shamrock Rovers in Tallaght and we will be looking to continue our progress in the FAI Cup.” However, he was also cautious given the match his players have just gone through. “We know it is going to be difficult after the tremendous efforts put in on Saturday night against Drogheda United, but we have the ability to make it happen. Their opponents will be looking to put themselves in contention for the double after going top of the league against Dundalk on Saturday. However, Michael O’Neill has a few injury headaches for their visit to UCD. Dean Kelly (groin), Ken Oman (knee) and Conor McCormack (knee) are all out of the tie while new signings Rohan Ricketts and Jim Paterson are not eligible to take part in the tie as they did not sign in time. Pat Flynn will also miss the clash through suspension while Enda Stevens will be unavailable following a family bereavement. O’Neill expressed his disappointment with failing to kill off UCD in the initial meeting between the sides. “It’s disappointing for us that the game had to go to a replay, we really should have finished the job last week and not let them back into it. But we are very keen to progress to the next round.” Both managers will be looking for their sides to advance into the next round but this one must be settled on the night with Sligo Rovers waiting for them in the next round. UCD: Injured: Ciaran Nangle (Shin). Doubtful: Sean Harding (Knee), Ger Barron (Neck), David O’Connor (Knee). Suspended: None. Shamrock Rovers: Injured: Dean Kelly (Groin), Ken Oman (Knee), Conor McCormack (Knee). Doubtful: Ryan Thompson (Thigh), Gary Twigg (Hip). Suspended: Pat Flynn. Given the likely weakened teams, particularly in defence, I have gone for over 2.5 goals @1.66 with Corals. This is only 1.56 on Betfair, and generally a 1.5 shot with other bookies!! GL :ok
