Re: MLB: August 25th Picks AGurv & Blackcrow do you think the Jays can cover the -1.5 today and Over or Under 9.0? Both games have been pretty tight so far. Kansas have a good recent record against them but feel the jays should progress from last nights win and win comfortably. Your opinions would me most valuable? Cheers

He 3-1 with a 1.04 ERA against Arizona, allowing just 2 runs in his last 3 starts against them. Miley allowed 5 runs in his first start for Arizona, and with Washington having some success with left handed pitchers, going 12-3 against them, like them to win this to even up the series Toronto - Kansas over 9.5 @ 2.28 pinnacle Cecil is 4-6, with a 4.24 ERA as he has allowed 19 runs in his last 5 home starts, where he has a 5.48 ERA compared to a 3.06 ERA on the road. He has faced Kansas just once where he allowed 3 runs in the 5-4 loss to them last year, but they are hitting well, and like them to score some runs here. Francis is 4-14, with a 4.89 ERA as he has allowed at least 4 runs in his last 4 starts, (including a home run in each of them), which includes 10 runs in his last 2 road starts. He has a 5.79 ERA on the road compared to a 4.08 ERA at home, and like Toronto to score here. He is 2-0 with a 2.08 ERA against Toronto while pitching with Colorado but recent form suggests that he will get hit here. Boston @ 2.46 pinnacle Miller is 5-1, with a 4.99 ERA as he has allowed just 4 runs in his last 3 road starts, and allowed 1 run on 3 hits in the 7-1 road win over Kansas last Friday. With the Boston bats hitting well, like them to give him some run support as he is 4-1 in his last 6 road starts. Ogando is 12-5, with a 3.30 ERA as he has given up 14 runs in his 4 starts this month (5.64 ERA) and allowed 6 runs on 8 hits in his last home game against Seattle. He is 1-3 with a 5.94 ERA against the AL East this season, and though he is starting Boston for the first time, they have been hitting the ball well scoring 24 runs on 30 hits in the last 2 games this series. Pittsburgh @ 2.56 pinnacle Morton is 9-6, with a 3.42 ERA and has allowed just 3 runs in his last 4 starts, which includes 1 run in his last 2 road starts, and is also 6-1 with a 1.98 ERA in 11 starts against divisional rivals. He is is 2-0 with a 3.86 ERA in his last 4 starts against St. Louis as he allowed 1 run on 3 hits in the 4-3 road win over them in April this year, and then gave up 3 runs on 6 hits in the 4-3 home win over them in July. Jackson is 2-2, with a 4.45 ERA as he has allowed 5 runs in his last 3 home starts. While he has pitched well, his bats are not hitting all that well, but the Pittsburgh gatters are scoring run and like them to score enough here to win this game. San Francisco - Houston over 7.5 @ 2.00 pinnacle Vogelsong is 10-3, with a 2.47 ERA as he allowed 5 runs on 9 hits in his last home game, and allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in the 6-0 loss to Houston last week. His home record is very good but his bats are not hitting well while Houston is scoring some runs of late. Sosa is 0-2, with a 6.35 ERA ashe has allowed 4 runs in each of his 3 starts this season, and allowed 4 runs on 4 hits in the 6-4 loss to SF last Sunday.
