Re: Scotland > Midweek > Communities League Cup > 23-24 Aug Pretty quiet on this thread! As an Airdrie fan I can't see past a Raith Rovers win this evening. Although I haven't been to any games this season due to my own football I have discussed with friends how we have been getting on and the answer is not very well in the last couple of games. A 2-0 defeat away to East Fife and a 5-1 home defeat to Cowdenbeath do not bode well. We did defeat Stirling 5-0 however they had a player sent off early on then the goalkeeper sent off as well. 3 of the goals were scored after the goalkeeper was sent off as an outfield player had to take the sticks. Raith have had a decent start to the league, sitting in second place. They have defeated Falkirk and QOTS and drew with Morton. A poor 3-0 defeat away to Ayr is the only blip so far. Although the fact that this was in the Ramsdens Cup (for 1st, 2nd and 3rd division teams) may have played a part in this. For me the Raith squad is too good for Airdries and I will be on the following bets. Raith to win at 5/6 - 10/10 Raith -1 at 23/10 - 5/10 Forgot to add, prices with Paddy Power

Reasoning	Falkirk should have plenty enough strength in the team to overcome Stenny here. Falkirk were not far off promotion last year, whilst Stenny narrowly avoided relegation. There's a massive gap between the top and botom divisions in Scotland and the single division split may not show the true difference here. The Scottish cups do not have as much of an unpredictable fashion, a la the Carling Cup. -1 on the AH is 1.80 but I'm happy to take these odds with Stan James. Falkirk will have similar odds for league games against better sides this year.
