Re: MLB: August 21st Picks Detroit - Cleveland over 9.5 @ 2.31 pinnacle Porcello is 11-8, with a 4.98 ERA as he has allowed at lest 3 runs in 7 of his last 10 starts (total of 38 runs) while he has allowed 19 runs in his last 5 home starts. He is 4-1 with a 3.50 ERA against Cleveland but allowed 8 runs on 11 hits in the 10-3 road loss to them. Jimenez is 1-0, with a 4.58 ERA in his 3 starts with Cleveland and has allowed 18 runs in his last 4 road starts. Though he gave up just 5 hits in the 10-3 win over Detroit two weeks ago, that was at home, but on the road he has had his problems and like the Tigers to score some runs here. Can see both pitchers getting hit as they have also ERA's over 4 when pitching during the day. Atlanta -1.5 @ 2.40 pinnacle Hudson is 12-7, with a 3.13 ERA as he has allowed 3 runs or less in each of his last 10 starts (total of 18 runs) with 13 of these rusn c coming in his last 6 home starts. He has gone 5-0 with a 1.54 ERA in 7 starts against Arizona, and is 10-0 (in 15 starts) with a 2.07 when pitching during the day. Furthermore, Hudson likes pitching in August, going 6-0 with a low 1.82 in 9 starts during this month over the last 2 seasons. Collmenter is 7-7, with a 3.47 ERA and has allowed at least 5 runs in 3 of his last 5 road starts. He allowed just 2 hits in the 2-1 home win over them in May this year, but hard to see him doing well against an Atlanta side that has won both games in this series, and of the 4 games played between these two teams this year, the home team has won every game. Chicago White Sox - Texas over 9.5 @ 2.17 pinnacle Floyd is 10-10, with a 4.66 ERA as he has allowed at least 5 runs in 4 of his last 5 home starts (total of 29 runs). He is 1-3 with a 6.04 ERA and though he allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in the 2-1 loss to them in May this year, that was in Texas, and he has a 7.15 ERA at home compared to a 3.13 ERA on the road. Holland is 11-4, with a 4.23 ERA and is 0-1 with an 8.44 ERA in 3 games against the Chicago White Sox, as he allowed 4 runs on 4 hits in the 8-6 home loss to them in May this year. Though Holland has pitched better of the two pitchers, his form against the White Sox suggets that both teams will score runs and send this over.
