Shipsupstreets
Re: England > Midweek > Evo-Stik Northern & Southern Prem Aug 15-17 Stocksbridge Park Steels at home to Ashton United (13/10 Bet365) A slightly fingers-crossed call, given that SPS lost and Ashton won on Saturday. But Stocksbridge had a rather stronger starting XI out against Marine than I expected and they pushed a good side to the limit. With an early penalty and a couple of late strikes, Ashton's win against Matlock flattered them. Barwell at home to Banbury United (Evs Bet365) Despite a great result against Hitchin on Saturday, I am not convinced that Ady Fuller's side will go that well against a Barwell that looks, at face value, much more experienced - the Scotts Hadland and Rickards patrol centre midfield. Barwell lost out narrowly to a very good Chesham side on Saturday and I am sure they'll have the edge over a light looking Banbury. Elsewhere, at this stage it's the smaller prices that appeal to me. Redditch United at 4/5 with Bet365 is a decent price about Martin Sockett's side, who put on a decent show at Oxford City. Ady Hall hasn't had much room for manoeuvre in the markets at Bedford, and despite some encouragement pre-season they were poor at home to Frome Town. Bashley did very well at Evesham United and they can continue the good work at home to Weymouth at 10/11 (Bet365). I think Weymouth have some way to go before they will be truly competitive. Finally, in the Northern Prem, I opposed Burscough on Saturday and I think that policy might pay off against Chester, with the visitors at 5/6 (Paddy Power). Burscough were hardly in it against Frickley and Chester have much more firepower.
ChesterFC
Re: England > Midweek > Evo-Stik Northern & Southern Prem Aug 15-17 4/5 for chester is a brilliant price! for a team who are 66/1 to win the league and are tipped for relegation 4/5 is a good price. burscough now play their home games at Skelmersdale United, a ground chester won on last season. Shipsupstreets
Re: England > Midweek > Evo-Stik Northern & Southern Prem Aug 15-17 Early season stuff from me: Bash and SPS failed but Barwell and Redditch came home nicely, leaving me sweating on Chester tomorrow to finish the right side of the line.
