Tough week last weekend, but some good games, this weekend more of the same. Broncos 1-12 The Cowboys have named Thurston, Bolton and Fai Fai Loa while the Broncos have McGuire in to relace Hannant with Hala coming onto the bench. Locky plays his 350th match for the Broncos tonight and the Broncos have won 6 of the last 7 between these two sides. I'm with the Broncos here in what should be a thrilling contest. Broncos by 7 Wests 1-12 The Magpies or Tigers are going great winning when all seems lost is always a good sign, while the Panthers were taught a lesson last weekend by the Storm. The Panthers welcome the return of rookie Harry Siejka with Lewis out injured and Vaivai and Weston also come back into the lineup. Seluini will start at hooker in place of Kevin Kingston. while The Tigers bring in Mitch Brown to replace Lawrence. The Panthers have a great record against the Tigers and even without Lewis have some real excitement about them in this line up, Jennings at fullback and Vai Vai in the side is dangerous as both are brilliant with ball in hand, the Panthers pack is also the match of the Tigers but Marshall and Farah are in for the Tigers and so a Magpies win appears on the cards. Tigers by 1 Knights + 6.5 The Knights are flying high and will come in to this match feeling confident, while the Warriors showed last weekend how dangerous they can be but also how inexperinced their halves can be. The Warriors get Moon back with Ta'i for this match while the Knights are unchanged. The Knights have not won in Auckland in their last 5 trips but that could change this weekend as they are in hot form and with Gidley and Mullen playing great they really should win this match, the Warriors might be going well but they cannot score from structured play and tonight that will cost them, i'm backing the Knights to take this game all the way and maybe even win. Warriors or Knights by 4 Storm - 17.5 No Prince and injury concerns all over the Park for the Titans is not a good sign when facing the Storm, a thrashing appears on the cards here and thats all I have to say about that. Storm by 30 Sea Eagles 1- 12 The Eels will want to make up for their flogging at the hands of the Bunnies last weekend while the Sea Eagles will want to win and maintain momentum. For the Eels, Reni Maitua is expected to make his return while Justin Poore's is retained in their lineup. While for the Sea Eagles they'll miss Jason King for the rest of 2011, but they do welcome back Robertson and George Rose earns a starting spot with King's absence. The Eels were thumped by the Bunnies but before last week had played well in defence and I think they will stand up here tonight and make Manly play hard to gain a win. Only 3 of the last 10 between these sides has been a blowout and I don't think this one will be either. Manly by 8. Souths - 2.0 Scary game for the Bunnies here as everything is going well for them which normally means bad news while the Raiders need to win here just for the sake of their fans. Changes for the Raiders though throw this game firmly to the Bunnies if they are good enough to take those chances, the Bunnies are unchanged but the Raiders are without Vidot due to personal reasons, meaning Reece Robinson returns on the wing. But Dane Tilse and Glen Buttriss will also be missing due to injury which means Bronson Harrison and Danny Galea will come into the starting side. The Bunnies should win this match and i'll go with them to do it well, if this game was a night game I might take the Raiders but it's a Sunday afternoon match in which Souths tend to go well. Souths by 12 Dragons - 12.5 The Dragons need to bounce back here and they likely will, The Dragons have no changes to their side while the Roosters could but at present have named all 3 players in question. The Dragons should have little worries in dispatching of the Roosters this wekend no matter who plays for them and so a Dragons win is on the cards. Dragons by 24 Dogs 1-12 The Sharks last two home matches have ended in disaster with losses to the Titans and Knights and so a big effort is needed here today to restore some pride while the Dogs beat the Cowboys but it was hardly impressive although Pritchard was. There are a few changes for this match for either side, for the Sharks they get Gardner in the custodian role while Paul Gallen has been named despite facing the judiciary tomorrow while Issac Gordon stays in the side in place of Wright, with Ricky Leutele retaining his place in the centres. Taulima Tautai is relegated with Wright to NSW Cup, while Jason Bukuya and Albert Kelly return. Canterbury have two changes, with Josh Reynolds promoted to starting hooker in the absence Romelo. Mickey Paea is on the bench meaning the Bulldogs will have a four-forward rotation. While Roberts is also back at five-eighth. The Dogs should win this match but again it will likely be clsoe. Dogs by 7 Good Luck to all betting on the NRL this weekend.

Dragons line now out to -16.5 due to Roosters turmoil with three players being suspended by their Club.

Re: NRL Rd 23 Cowboys -3.5 @ 2.51 centrebet Big game for both sides with plenty of stake. Like the way the Cowboys forwards have been playing of late and with Scott coming back, like them to give it to the Broncos. A massive boost for them is that Thurston is back, and this will override the emotion the Broncos will have with Lockyer celebrating his 350th game. The rivalry between these two QLD teams will make this game a must win for both sides, and though the Broncos have done well against the Cowboys in the past, like the Cowboys to make it a double after beating the them 16-14 earlier in the year. Panthers +7.5 @ 2.10 centrebet Could be a let down game for the Tigers after two massive come from behind wins over two of the top sides in the league, in the Sea Eagles and the Dragons, in the last two weeks. The Panthers have the forwards to take it to the Tigers, but it is the backs that need to stop Marshall and Lui when they get the hands on the ball. The Panthers have won 14 of their last 20 meetings with the Tigers including 5 of the last 8 games, and though they have won 4 straight, it is hard for any team to maintain that high level of play for weeks on end. While the Tigers may still end up winning this game, like the Panthers to keep this close, as they do still have a very slim chance of making the semi finals, and while there is hope, they will battle on.

Re: NRL Rd 23 Warriors win by 1-12 margin @ 2.90 centrebet Warriors were just edged out by the Broncos last week while the Knights have strung a few very good games together, albeit against weaker opposition. Both teams have good forward packs who make some good yardage and hit well in defence, while both sets of halves organise their teams well. Not much between the two sides as they look to lock up a position in the top 8, but like the Warriors, due to their home ground advantage to edge out the Knights, as they have won 7 of the last 8 meetings between the two sides, as well as the last 5 meetings at Mt Smart Stadium. Sea Eagles -18.5 @ 3.05 centrebet Eels were smashed by the Rabbitohs last week while the Sea Eagles did it quite comfortably over the Roosters. Not many players who are trying for the Eels and the lack of a cohesive peerformance by them suggests that many of the players have had enough for the year. As for the Sea Eagles, they are rolling along nicely and have won 10 of their last 12 games. They beat the Eels by 4 points earlier in the year and have won 5 of the last 8 meetings. The Eels have very little out wide, and once the Sea Eagles get some forward progress, then it will not take long for the ball to shift wide, where the Eels can be found wanting. Hard to see the Eels recovering from the massive loss last week and Manly should be too good here Storm -25.5 @ 3.05 centrebet Titans managed to edge out the Sharks last week who threw the game away while the Storm were very good once again in beating the and hard to see them not scoring plenty here. Their defence is very good and should be able to nullify what little the Storm have especially as they are now without Prince, their main organiser in attack. The Titans make too many errors and misses tackles, and the Storm are the type of team that make the most of these presents given to them. Expect the Storm to blow them away, much like they did in Melbourne earlier in the season when they won by 28 points.

Re: NRL Rd 23 Warriors win by 1-12 margin @ 2.90 :D Sea Eagles -18.5 @ 3.05 :eyes They were rubbish in the first half to be down by 8 points and then made a very good comeback in the second half, but not enough to get the pick in Storm -25.5 @ 3.05 :@ Missed it by 2 points. They led by 28 points in the second half and then allowed 2 tries before scoring one late on

Re: NRL Rd 23 Rabbitohs -5.5 @ 2.10 centrebet The Rabbitohs are starting to put it together after a big comeback win over the Dragons and then smashing the Eels by 50 points. Their forwards are rolling along while their backs with Sandow in particular are finding plenty of space out wide. Though their form in Canberra is not good, they do face a Raiders side who are out of form and with plenty of injuries. They were easily beaten by Newcastle last week, and look to be running on empty. This is a type of game where the Rabbitohs, expected to win, either make hard work of it or lose it, but with a top 8 spot on the line, they know they cannot afford to stuff it up here, and beleive they will stay focused and record another win here Dragons -19.5 @ 2.00 centrebet Dragons may have lost narrowly in their last 3 games but they play a side that is struggling for any sort of form, and now that they are further without players like Carney, Myles and Nuuausla, their task of stopping the Dragons looks even more remote. They were smashed 38-6 by the Sea Eagles last week and the Dragons should do a similar job on them here, and if they do hit an early and comfortable lead, doubt that they will take it easy, as they did against the Rabbitohs. Hard to see the Roosters being competitive here considering the form they are in and the mental state of the players with all the drama off the field. The Dragons are starting to look like they are beginning their run into the semi finals with solid preformances and can see them beltng the Roosters here

Re: NRL Rd 23 Sharks win by 1-12 margin @ 3.75 Tab Sharks should have beaten the Titans last week but they found ways to stuff it up. Gallen plays his 200th game, and am sure that they will be up for this. That is the only reason they have something to play for as otherwisw they are out, but the fact that he means so much for them is why the Sharks will put it in tonight. As for the Bulldogs, they still have semi final hopes but am not too sure about their recent form, as they have done enough to win, without looking particular good. Like the Sharks to match them here and with Gallen's big night they do enough to edge them here
