Re: Scotland > Weekend > Divs 1-3 > 13 Aug The value bet for me in the Scottish lower leagues this week is Elgin City They are the dark horses for the title in my eyes. I have been impressed with what I have seen of them (I'm an East Fife fan and we've met Elgin twice in cups so far) In the league cup they probably should have taken a draw away from Bayview. Add to the mix the win they pulled off at Ross County and the 4 goals they knocked past Berwick last week. The boy Gunn certainly knowswhere the goals are. Montrose I'm afraid to say may well finish bottom of the league. East Fife ripped them apart at Links Park in the Ramsdens cup, scoring 6. Raith then knocked 4 past them in the league cup. They lost 1-0 to East Stirling in the league opener. Add to that Jonny Smart's suspension and I just can't see Montrose as so called favourites here.

Re: Scotland > Weekend > Divs 1-3 > 13 Aug Pity there is nothing odds against left for Berwick to beat East Stirling. ES are the in just about the worst financial shape of any league side in Scotland and have virtually a new squad that has had no time to bed in pre-season. Berwick beat second division Dumbarton midweek and will be keen to atone for their collapse at Elgin last weekend. Apparently East Stirling's victory over Montrose was a bit of a freak result last weekend. 5/6 still available at Coral, think Berwick will be around 8/13 by Saturday.

Reasoning	Dumbarton is coming froma cup defeat by 2-0 at Berwick making a poor performance. They really showed lack of attitude and they don't seem to be a motivated team. They are still trying to adapt the new signings and on the main team there are 8 new players, which says something about the way the team is performing. Stireling won the first game and they will try to win the second, keeping the leadership. But they also were miserable on the midweek. Anyway, in this balanced game, i rely on the previous league game as we all know that motivation on cup games is very different.
