Ronnie Posted June 30, 2011 Share Posted June 30, 2011 The main event between Dominic Cruz and Urijah Faber is a close one but not uncallable, Faber beat Cruz in 2007 and handed him his only defeat to date (17-1), Cruz is a different fighter since then, improving his all round game, it's his quick feet and movement that will win him this fight, Jose Aldo destroyed Fabers lead leg and Cruz has the speed to be in and out and do the same thing before Faber can take him down. Dominic Cruz to win by Decision 13/8 @Skybet Wanderlei Silva makes his comeback after 18 months off due to surgery to face Chris Leben. Leben is a very heavy puncher, with a particularly nasty left hook, Wanderlei's chin ain't what it used to where as Leben seems to have a chin of stone taking some huge shots and still coming forward. I wouldn't normally bet when Wanderlei is fighting due to him being my favorite fighter but I just think with the two of them stood in the pocket swinging for the fences it's Wanderlei's chin that will go first (like the Rampage Jackson fight), I'm hoping he can win if he does it will be by decision though. I thought the fight with Faber was close but wasnt scoring it, though I thought 50-45 was pretty damn harsh. On the whole one of the best cards for a while.
