Under is 4-0 in Vargas' last 4 starts vs. Angels. Under is 5-1-1 in the last 7 meetings. Last 2 games played by these two(encounters of this season) were in Seattle and ended 3-0, 2-1. It's hard to tell which one will win, but I think under 6 runs is not that difficult to pull out. In the last 3 against Seattle with Haren as starter there were less than 4 runs. In Vargas' last 3 there were less than 6 in each. LA Angels have an average of 2.2 runs/game scored in the last 10 and haven't scored in the last one against Mazzaro. Seattle isn't too good at scoring either with an average of 3.9 runs in their last 10. But they scored less than 3 runs in 6 of the last 10 and when they scored 7 or more runs their opponents didn't start with pitchers like D Haren(ERA 2.41). I think it's fair to say this game won't have more than 6 runs.

In head to head comparation are th statistic quite similar, 1-1 for Haren and 1-2 for Vargas, but Angels are 9-14 vs LHP and i will go for better odds, and there are better on Mariners Mets to beat Pirates 2.06 with Bet365 Pelfrey for Mets is 2-1 in last games and 3-1 vs Pirates, while Maholm is 1-3, resp. 0-2 vs Mets. Mets have good record vs LHP. Rockies to beat Padres 1.64 with Betfair Bass will make his MLB debut for Padres and I trust more the home side with Cook, who has record 2-0 vs Padres Cubs to beat Brewers 1.92 with Bet365 Dempster seems to be in good form with 4-2 in last games and 4-0 in games vs Brewers.

He allowed only 1 hit in the 3-2 win over Arizona, while in his last start against the Mets, he allowed 7 runs, after getting a 7 run lead, to eventually lose 9-8. He will be looking to make up for that effort here where he has a 2.45 ERA at home and has allowed 2 runs or less in his last 5 home starts. Pelfrey is 3-4, with a 5.35 ERA as he allowed 7 runs on 10 hits in the 9-8 over the Pirates and then allowed 2 runs in the 7-6 loss to Milwaukee. He has allowed 3 runs in 4 of his last 5 road starts (total of 18 runs), and with the Mets having already won 2 games in this series, they may now be turning their attention to the next series with Atlanta, while Pittsburgh will be looking to even this series up. Cleveland @ 2.69 pinnacle Carrasco is 5-3, with a 4.52 ERA and is 4-1 with a 3.98 ERA in his last 5 starts, as he allowed 3 hits in the 1-0 win over Minnesota last Tuesday. He is 3-0 with a 3.48 ERA in 6 road starts where he has allowed 3 runs or less in each of them (total of 13 runs), and with the Yankees seeing him for the first time, he looks good to keep them in check. Burnett is 6-4, with a 4.37 ERA and is 2-2 with a 6.37 ERA in his last 5 starts as he allowed 8 runs on 7 hits in the 11-6 loss to Boston last Wednesday. Though he is 2-1 with a 2.22 ERA in his last 4 starts against Cleveland, he has allowed 3 walks in each of his last 4 starts, and if continues to walk batters, expect the Indians to be fired up here to score and avoid the sweep, while the Yankees may be looking ahead to the series with Texas starting tomorrow. Houston -1.5 @ 3.49 pinnacle Rodriguez is 3-3, with a 3.41 ERA and was 2-0 with a low 1.75 ERA in 5 starts before going on the disabled list. Now he returns here where is 0-1 with a 3.00 ERA in 4 home starts and is 2-0 with a 2.00 ERA in 4 home starts against Atlanta, as he allowed 5 hits but the bullpen undid his good work to lose 3-1. Lowe is 3-4, with a 3.73 ERA as he allowed 2 hits in the 3-2 win over Florida. He opposed Rodriguez on May 17 where he allowed 1 run on 5 hits in the 3-1 win, but has allowed 3 runs in 2 of his last 3 road starts, and Houston may do enough to win this, as the Braves may be looking ahead to the series with the Mets, having already won 3 in this series while the Astros will be looking to avoid a sweep here. LA Dodgers -1.5 @ 2.90 pinnacle Kuroda is 5-7, with a 3.35 ERA as he allowed 1 run in the 2-0 loss to the Phillies, with a lack of run support a problem, given that he has allowed just 12 runs in his last 6 starts, with 2 runs or less in 4 of these starts. The Dodgers though have started to hit again and like them to get to Arroyo who is 4-6 with a high 5.28 ERA as he allowed 4 runs on 8 hits in the 4-2 loss to the Chicago Cubs on Wednesday. He has allowed 25 runs in his last 5 starts, including 14 runs in his last 2 road starts, and with the Reds bats gone quiet, he may not get the run support here, while Kuroda should finally get some here June picks: 14-26 (-7.94) May picks: 31-73 (-30.18) April picks: 45-56 (+2.52)
