wizzkid walter
Re: Wizzkid's 'Short Priced Favourites' Thread 4:30 Cork - First Lieutenant - Back Best horse in this field comfortably and has a great chance of following up here. Won relatively easily lto and he left the impression he'd come on for the run so that should have done him some good. Every chance here 2pts win @ 8/13 Paddy Power BOG
wwweeerrr
Re: Wizzkid's 'Short Priced Favourites' Thread Overall so far: Starting Bank: 100 points Total number of bets placed: 106 Total number of winners: 58 Strike Rate: 54.72% Total number of points staked: 288.50 Total points returned: 286.17 Net position: -2.33 pts % yield: -0.81% Current bank: 97.67 points Hi Wizzkid It just shows you how difficult it is to make a long term profit when the prices are under the odds. 54.72% strike rate is excellent but unless you can get Evens on your bets it's going to be impossible for you to make money in the long term. Having said that, I know of one professional punter who makes his living just betting on odds on chances but he must be getting value somewhere to be achieving that. Anyway, keep up the thread and good luck..
wizzkid walter
Re: Wizzkid's 'Short Priced Favourites' Thread 5:20 Plumpton - Finnegan Paddy - Back Won easily in a point to point lto and has since been bought for pretty big money. Makes his debut under rules here but should be able to make it a winning one with only 2 opponents to beat. Been found a good opportunity to get a win here 2pts win @ 4/9 Paddy Power BOG
wizzkid walter
Re: Wizzkid's 'Short Priced Favourites' Thread 2:10 Exeter - Soulard - Back Should be an absolute banker here. Only has 2 rivals to beat here and is clearly thenest horse in this line up. Ran an absolute belter when 2nd lto and it would be a real shock if he wasn't able to go one better here. Very short but I think it's justifiable 2pts win @ 1/7 Hills BOG
wizzkid walter
Re: Wizzkid's 'Short Priced Favourites' Thread 3:15 Ludlow - Lava Lamp - Back By far and away the most consistent horse in this field and thus is considerably the easiest task he's faced in done time. Usually dies well at this sort of level and should have this run to suit so it would be disappointing if he wasn't good enough to win this 2pts win @ 2/5 Hills BOG
wizzkid walter
Re: Wizzkid's 'Short Priced Favourites' Thread 3:30 Aintree - Master Minded - Back He is one of the greatest chasers of all time and he can start this season with a bang here. Only a 3 runner but the outsider has no chance. Only has Albertas Run to beat but is a classier type than him and should confirm that today. 4/9 looks a very fair price 2pts win @ 4/9 Hills BOG

wizzkid walter
Re: Wizzkid's 'Short Priced Favourites' Thread Cheers Danny, constructive that. 4:55 Aintree - Royal Guardsman - Back Won really eye-catchingly on debut and comes from a yard renowned for their bumper horses and he looks like he could be another that they could target towards the Cheltenham bumper. Miles clear of the field in the betting for this and has a big chance 2pts win @ Evens Paddy Power BOG
