Super 15: Round 14

Recommended Posts

Blues win by 1-12 margin @ 2.90 centrebet We have the best team in NZ vs the best team in SA, so should be another cracker of a game, with little in it. The Stormers are missing some of their backline, which should see them move the ball even more so their very good forward pack, while the Blues, if they man up to the forwards, will have the edge in the backline out wide. Like the Blue to bounce back from their loss to the Reds last week, while the Stormers have lost 2 straight and will not want to lose another one here. Both games they lost by less than 7 points or less to the Crusaders and Chiefs, so with another NZ team, can see a similar outcome. The loss of some key backs tips things in favour of the Blues, and can see a close game with Blues edging it.

Re: Super 15: Round 14 Chiefs -2.5 @ 4.40 centrebet Back in Round 9, the Crusaders beat the Chiefs 34-18 and were cruising along. Since then, narrow wins over the Force and the Stormers and then were upset by the Cheetahs. They have had to make the long trek back from SA and are without some key players. Their backline has lost Dagg, Maitland and Williams, and much will be based on Carter to lift them when they lack experience in the backline, while up front, they will have a tough time with the Chiefs forwards. The Chiefs have won their last 2 games and are flying as their comeback win over the Stormers still gave them a chance in finishing in the top 6. Their backline looks much better than what the Crusaders have at the moment and like them to edge this. Lions +7.5 @ 3.20 centrebet Waratahs have been rubbish lately and have been kicking far too much ball. They do not keep in the hands, but then again, when they do, they tend to drop the ball, so no surprise that they kick it then. The Lions have been smashed by over 20 points in their last 3 visits to Sydney, but coming off a big win over the Brumbies then they will give this a shake. They will look to frustrate the Waratahs for as long as possible, in order for the home crowd to start booing their own team and push them into making more mistakes. Believe that the Lions will do enough to keep this close, and though the Waratahs will probably win, it will not be pretty.
