The coach gave balance to his squad expecially when gave chance to striker Danilo Santos who was not used by former manager Tonino Cecilio, and player return joy to trainer with one goal and one assist in last game against ABC. The sheme against Duque de Caxias will be the same with Danilo up in front so i belive in another good game from all team. Duque, on the other hand is realy poor side, had some positive results lately but i don´t think they will get anything out of this game, fans lost trust in players and management so Duque will be playing almost in empty stadium. Ponte Preta, a side who are in great form for the past month or so will host Vila Nova, a team who are totaly in down trend at the moment. In last three games all they had is defeats (vs Americana 1-3, vs Sport Recife 0-2 and last one totaly destroyed by Victoria at home by 3-0). On the side of hosts, they are very good at home and in away matches constantly giving the best they can. Morale in the team is on superb level expecially after been 0-1 down in last match against ASA away, and in second half they has shown their strenght, with two goals in the back of the net gave joy to their manager and fans (2-1 was at the end with goals by Ricardo Jesus and Lucio Flavio). With one loss and 3 draws in last 4 matches Portugesa is still 1st placed, but now only a point above Ponte Preta who is second placed with 38pts. I strongly belive this is right time and right oponnent for home side to finaly get positive result and that is only victory. Team were criticised by the board and the press and victory is an obligation for home side. As for Parana, they aren´t good lately, yes they won vs BOA but their play weren´t on high level. Key midfielder Serginho (1 goal) is suspended and out of the game. Icasa is 7 games without defeat, one the other hand Victoria got 4 winners, one draw and one defeat in last 6 matches and all hopes to continue in good manner. Icasa has been more lucky in last two games, against Portugesa 3-3 (they scored two goals more by luck then brain:), vs Sport they had some nice play but at the ens was 2-2, defensive sector isn´t good and i belive Victoria hase good chance to get good winner against them. Odds isn´t great for myself, i realylike odds @1.90+, but i belive -1 line is fair in this one. Higher stake.
