Re: France - Ligue 1 - 7-8 May Lyon-Marseille Marseille +0.25 SBO 2.00 stakes:5/10 BIg match at the top between lyon fighting to keep his third place and marseille , which will try to remain in the race for the tiltle Marseille has nothing this year of a brillliant team this year , but it s quite an efficient one, they are conceding few goals recently with the missing of mbia.(against nice and auxerre at home poor offensive team) remy will be back and we can imagine that he will be particulary motivated against his native club On the other hand lyon looks a mess, they were awfull this week end , no doubt they will no repeat a so poor performance, but they still look very weak in defense and will miss toulalan and cissoko and probably cris. Michel bastos will be suspended too , so it makes a couple of main players out and we can have few interragations on the quality of their bench at those positions. I would have seen more this line at 1.8, 1.9 max for marseille so value for me Lyon-Marseille over 2.25 odd:1.95 sbo stakes:6/10 as said below marseille is conceding goals recently and lyon is very por defensively if you add that both team will go for a victory , we should see an open game with a couple of goals, generous price on this line :hope

Re: France - Ligue 1 - 7-8 May Caen-lens over2.25 odd:2.06 sbo stakes:6/10 very generous price here IMO;caen is one of the high scoring team of the ligue, and lens is deseperate with not more than 5%chance to stay in the league, both team need 3 pts, i can t see caen sitting back , its not their way of play and they really need to take 3 pts against this really poor team of lens. no doubt that lens willl go all in. so overs for me here :hope

Re: France - Ligue 1 - 7-8 May lorient_toulouse lorient -0.25 1.85 12 bet stakes :4/10 lorient is fighting for the 6th place when toulouse is almost safe, toulouse has been very impressive against lyon but they are this kind if unpredicatable team and i dont see them repeating a so good performance. Les merlus looks well back on the rail, gameiro is a goal machine and according to their very good record home, i found this price pretty generous.:hope

Re: France - Ligue 1 - 7-8 May Bordeaux-Sochaux Sochaux +0.75 pinnacle 1.93 Stakes:4/10 I m more laying bordeaux than backing sochaux. quite surprised to find bordeaux so short,at odds around 1.75. They have won only 40% of their match at home this season and doesnt look as the most consistent team of the ligue. True sochaux are poor traveller but they had recently decent performances away and really have the target to finish at the 6th position to go to eurpa league this season. so think than sochaux can grab something there and in case of a defeat by one goal difference, half of the stake back. I consider this line has a generous price :hope

Re: France - Ligue 1 - 7-8 May French Soccer 2010-2011 15W-14L-6P -1.00 units (51.72%) Bordeaux -0.5 (-132) to win 1 unit @ 5dimes Big odds, but I think the Sochaux is pretty much terrible on the road. There wins for the most part (on the road) have been against teams that are fighting relegation. Bordeaux doesn't always get it done at home, but I think they should get a win out of this one.

Re: France - Ligue 1 - 7-8 May Brest-Nice = 1 (2.00) bet365 Brest position 12° points 41 Nice position 17° points 39 Preview: Brest: injured: Deneuve (goalkeeper 0 / 0). Nice: injured: Bellion (striker 10 / 0), Cantareil (defender 4 / 0), Fae (midfielder 24 / 3), Mounier (midfielder 31 / 3), Paisley (defender 8 / 0), Sable (midfielder 30 / 0); suspended: Civelli (defender 29 / 3), Mouloungui (striker 30 / 5). Brest has a score in the house w6-d7-l3 goals scored 20 goals against 14 while Nice has a score out of the house w2-d7-l7 goals scored 10 goals against 21. Both teams are struggling to get away from the danger zone. The midfielder Yohan Bigne said: It 's a very important game for both teams. "We need points in our struggle and a home win this weekend would give us a bit 'of breath because the next two games away from home will meet the Marseille and Lyon at home. The results obtained so far from the home team are best. The first sign is more than justified. Quote declining in many books. :hope:hope:hope

Re: France - Ligue 1 - 7-8 May I'll have three today in Ligue 1 ... Caen v Lens - Caen -0.25AH @ 1.91 with Stan James 8pts This line is a lot shorter everywhere else so I don't expect it to last. Lens are doomed, they aren't going to overturn nine points in their remaining games. They don't have the attacking players nor the defensive fortitude. Caen are right in the thick of it and before last weekend, were my tip to go down. However, a thumping 4-0 win over Nice away has sparked them up, and I think they'll carry that momentum into this one. Gregory Tafforeau and Sambou Yatabare miss out in midfield but they have enough cover for me. Benjamin Nivet will move into the holding role. In attack, they have more than enough, IMO, to punish a creaky Lens backline. Youssouf El-Arabi is in wonderful form and Romain Hamouma showed his class last week with two goals. To get them with some draw cover at a pallatable price looks good value. Really like Caen to get the job done here. Auxerre v Montpellier - Auxerre -0.25AH @ 1.91 with Stan James 6pts I think Montpellier's season is pretty much over. The club seem in the doldrums after losing the Coupe de la Ligue and their insipid performance at home to Brest last week didn't inspire me with much confidence. Emir Spahic and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa are both out suspended, so their defence will be reshuffled once more. They travel to the Yonne against a side also plagued by absentees, although Stephane Grichting comes back into the squad. Their 1-1 draw at Marseille was a massive point for them and proved that they can battle away against superior teams. That spirit should do them well here. They at least have Ireneusz Jelen and Dennis Oliech up front who will score goals, and that could be the difference for them. MHSC have been poor for a wee while now, and I reckon AJA have a good chance to get the points in this one. Nancy v Lille - Over 2.25 goals @ 1.98 with 188bet 5pts Think we could be seeing some goals in this one. Both teams in desperate need of the points, Nancy in terms of relegation, Lille in terms of the title. Lille have got a strong squad for this one and could well cover the line on their own. Gervinho, Eden Hazard and Moussa Sow are all in good form and the goals were flowing in the 5-0 demolition of Arles last week. Nancy appear to be in freefall. Pablo Correa is leaving in the summer and the club will be completely overhauled. Could well be in Ligue 2, however, as they've been poor at the Marcel-Picot and may suffer for that. Even still, they have the players to get a goal. Mahima Vahirua is capable of conjuring up something from nothing, while Julien Feret contributes from midfield. I'd be happy enough to take Lille too but their recent defeat at Monaco worries me a little, so I see the goal-line as a viable bet at decent odds. :hope

are you sure' date=' atko for yanga-mbiwa i know that he is suffering from a shoulder injury but he is in the group and anounced as starter, if he is out fully agree with your bet[/quote'] Sorry, my mistake, it's right-back Garry Bocaly who is suspended. Still fancy AJA.

Re: France - Ligue 1 - 7-8 May

Event Bordeaux - Sochaux
Selection Bordeaux
Strength 10/10
Date 07/05/2011
Bookmaker/Price Totesport @ 1.80
Reasoning The Ligue 1 is ending and the two teams are still fighting for a Place on Europa League. If to Sochaux this is like a prize for the very good season they made, for Bordeaux is a obligation as they disappointed this season and only getting this qualification will satisfy the club. Bordeaux will be under pressure playing in front of their fans but Sochaux is also one of the worst teams playing away in this Ligue 1. I think Bordeaux won't miss this chance to fight for the single target that remain to them.

I'm not sure if overs is the best call in this one. Nancy really struggle to score. They've only managed to find the net twice in five games and they couldn't even get one against Arles in their last home game. I really fancy Lille to win this and I'm definitely happier about taking 21/20 about them rather than slightly less on overs. Do you think Nancy can score twice? If not then are you not better taking Lille? I see a much greater chance of a 1-0 Lille win than a 2-1 for Nancy. Hopefully Lille come out and blitz Nancy 3-0 so we both win :ok

Lille ended up winning 1-0 in the end. They just about hung on but didn't make it easy watching for their backers (me) in the last 10 mins! Unlucky with the overs call Atko, it could have got there if Nancy were a bit better with final balls/finishing. A goal from them would have opened the match up.

Re: France - Ligue 1 - 7-8 May Jean Tigana quit as Bordeaux coach on Saturday after fans abused his teenage daughter during a damaging 4-0 home loss to Sochaux, while Lille opened up a four-point lead at the league summit. "It was a disastrous evening for the club and me," said Tigana, after seeing his side ship four goals in the space of just half an hour against their rivals for the final Europa League qualifying position. "My daughter was harassed in the stands. She's already getting hassle at school, so I'm taking the decision to end my journey with Bordeaux." :\

LIVE Half-time score: Lyon 1 - Marseille 0: First 30 min., Lyon was much stronger. They scored by penalty in 26. min. After that, Marseille started playing more offensive and they kept Lyon in their half of pitch for the rest of first half. Marseille to score next or draw seems to be a good bet...

Re: France - Ligue 1 - 7-8 May

Agree with the Marseille bet, picked it @1.975 (bet three six five). Lyon took a big blow last week, several players will be suspended while Marseille have lost only once in seventeen games. Small to medium stakes.
3-2 :(
