Re: NBA Playoffs - Conference Semi-Finals 2011 Game 4 - LA Lakers at Dallas Mavericks - Under 188 @ 1.95 (Victor Chandler) Potentially the end of the series for these two, as the Lakers try to match up for the Mavericks in Game 4. Both teams shot the ball well, getting 46-47% shooting with Dallas achieving a massive 12-29 pointers and there was also a over 40 free throw attempts. Having said that, the game still only ended on 190 points. I expect the Lakers to make some adjustments to try and stop Mavericks netting some many three pointers and I'm hoping for some tight defensive basketball in order to keep the total down. I can't see both teams playing so well offensively again and even if they do, it doesn't necessarily lead to the total going over.

Re: NBA Playoffs - Conference Semi-Finals 2011 Game 4 - Chicago Bulls at Atlanta Hawks - Under 179 @ 1.95 (Victor Chandler) I've been on this bet twice, both going over unfortunately for me, in Game 1 and most recently in Game 3 where it went over by 3 points. In that game Chicago shot 10-20 from beyond the arc, and I expect the Hawks to defend this better, as they are a good 3 point defensive team. This should have a good chance still, even if I've lost on it twice already.

I seem to be jinxed. What the hell Mavericks shooting 60% and 20 3 pointers. :eek

I still think the bets I placed are correct in theory, but the results are too random, and are destroying my bank balance. This is my first full season of following and betting on the NBA and my record (which I will post below) started in December when I could afford to bet. I reached a high profit more than once which invariably led to stupid mistakes (getting too cocky :unsure) and resulted in a negative balance which is unfortunate. I'm hoping I can learn for next season, and maybe avoid the playoffs. NBA Regular season W/L/V = 56/55/0 Strike rate = 50.45% Total P/L = -23.58 NBA Postseason W/L/V = 24/29/1 Strike rate = 45.28% Total P/L = -65.68

Re: NBA Playoffs - Conference Semi-Finals 2011 Rick keep your head up mate, i had a terrific strike rate, year before last and this year there was alot of weird results, very unpredictable ones which have trended through this playoffs:\ best thing to do is stay aaway for a period of time, and come back stronger, you seem like a knowledgable punter it ll turn round for ya:ok

Re: NBA Playoffs - Conference Semi-Finals 2011 Bulls -2.5 AH @ Hawks. 1.80 @ Pinnacle End of the road for Hawks here, I believe. Bulls lost one match in Atlanta and won't do it again. It was one off. The problem for Atlanta still is lack of offense and Bulls can score freely as they have not only Rose, Deng and Boozer but also some shooters on the bench. Chicago will be too strong for Hawks and will take the series 4-2 only to be beaten by Heat in Eastern conference finals.

Re: NBA Playoffs - Conference Semi-Finals 2011 Thunder > Grizzlies. 2.12 @ 5Dimes I think Grizzlies lost this series when they failed to win their last home match which was decided in the third OT. Grizzlies were not at the races in the 2nd match which took place just less than 48 hours later in OKC. Grizzlies ran out of gas very quickly and now face a very tough mental battle which I don't think they will win. Thunder to close out series 2nite and advance to West finals against Mavs.

Miami with more options in offense looks like the better bet but i think these two are too closely matched to go for a win/loose bet. Probably go for the unders bet because of the two defenses cancelling out each other.

Indeed, the total line was a tie @ total 185.

I can see chicago wining these series. Miami with all the advantages should have done more with the chance but couldnt take it. Miami had more days to rest and recover and still took a thrashing from a very defensive team. its ridiculous imo
