Super 15: Round 11

Recommended Posts

Blues -4.5 @ 2.04 centrebet Huge win by the Highlanders last week over the Crusaders, and though they have some players comnig back which can only make them stronger, it may have taken something out of them for this game. It does not get any easier for them this week as they face a side that has been playing well. Like this Blues backline which is stacked with good players, and like them to have the edge over the Highlanders who like to keep the ball in the forwards. As long as the Blues match them up front, then their better backs should be too much for them. The Blues have won the last 4 meetings as well as 11 of the 16 clashes, so they have the edge over them, as well as winning the last 2 games in Dunedin.

Re: Super 15: Round 11 Reds -5.5 @ 2.04 centrebet Reds are coming off a big win over their rivals the Waratahs last week, and having won their last 7 in a row, like them to make it one more, over an inconsistent Hurricanes side. The reds like to move the ball, as do the Hurricanes, but the Reds do it better, and though their form in NZ is not that great, they are in such good form right not, it is hard not seeing them win this one. Waratahs -13.5 @ 2.04 centrebet Both teams have lost their last 2 games, and have players out for this game, but the Waratahs effort against the Reds was very encouraging as they were unlucky not to get the win last week. Look to them to use the scrum once again to unsettle the Rebels, who have shown flashes of being competitive with teams, but can also have shockers. They were smashed 43-0 by the Waratahs down in Melbourne earlier in the season, and the defence has been poor for much of the season, while the Waratahs defence has been pretty good. Despite losing some key players, the Waratahs still have enough quality in their side to win this one well, and expect them to use their forwards quite a bit to force the Rebels back time and time again. Crusaders -8.5 @ 2.01 centrebet Like the Crusaders to bounce back here after a rare loss last week to the Highlanders. They have McCaw back in the side, and also expect them to start with their strongest line up considering some players have been rotated to the bench in the last few games, and now they need to not only ensure they win, but also gain the bonus point. The Force have won their last 2 games and are playing reasonably well, but they now meet the best team in the competition who will also be out for revenge for their upset loss last year to them in Perth. While they are fairly evenly matched in the forwards, especially in the back row with Pocock coming back into the side to pair up with Brown, like the Crusaders front row to do well against their opponents, while the backs should have too much speed and power out wide for the Force to handle.
