MLB Overall 2011 27-21 +5.32 units (56.25%) Astros +150 to bet 1 unit @ 5dimes I think this is worth a shot. Marcum is putting up pretty good numbers so far this season but Myers is having a damn good early part of the season as well. Mets -126 to win 1 unit @ 5dimes Just have a feeling the Mets start putting it together here.

Re: MLB: April 23rd 2011 Picks Tampa Bay -1.5 @ 2.42 pinnacle Price is 2-2, with a 2.83 ERA and has given up just 2 runs in his last 2 starts. He is coming off allowing 4 hits in the 5-0 win over the Chicago White Sox, and will like his chances against Toronto where he is 6-0 with a 1.93 ERA. Morrow makes his first start for Toronto but he faces a Rays side that has started to hit the ball well. San Francisco -1.5 @ 2.49 pinnacle Lincecum is 2-1, with a low 1.67 ERA and is coming off another very good performance where he allowed 1 run on 3 hits in the 8-1 win over Colorado. He has pitched well against Atlanta where he is 6-2 with a 2.89 ER. He is up against a good pitcher in Hudson who is 2-2, with a 4.05 ERA and is 3-0 with a 2.40 ERA in his last 6 starts against San Francisco. However he has lost his last 2 starts as he allowed all 4 runs in the 4-2 loss to the Dodgers. The Giants tend to give Lincecum some run support so like them to do enough to win and even up this series. St Louis -1.5 @ 2.51 pinnacle Carpenter has not pitched well this season, up until his last game where he allowed just 5 hits in the 2-1 loss to the LA Dodgers. He has an opportunity to continue that form against Cincinnati where he has won his last 10 starts against them with a very low 1.37 ERA in these games. He should get some run support as well from a batting line up that is hitting the ball well as they face Wood who is 1-2, with a 5.73 and is coming off allowing 6 runs on 8 hits in the 9-3 loss to Pittsburgh. Like the Cardinals to extend their 3 game winning streak here Chicago White Sox -1.5 @ 2.48 pinnacle Jackson is 2-1, with a 3.51 ERA and like him to bounce back after allowing 4 runs on 11 hits in the 5-0 loss at Tampa Bay. He has pitched well at Detroit where he is 2-0 with a 3.21 ERA in 4 starts there. Penny starts for Detroit and he is 0-2, with a 8.44 ERA as he allowed 5 runs oon 4 hits and 4 walks in the 5-1 loss at Oakland. The White Sox have the better pitcher and like them to do enough to even up this series. Houston @ 2.56 pinnacle Myers is 1-0, with a 2.39 ERA and has pitched well with little reward as he allowed 3 runs, with his team leading 6-3, and then ending up losing 8-6 to San Diego. He has been solid against Milwaukee, going 3-3 with a 3.21 ERA in 8 starts against them. He is oposed by Marcum who has pitched well so far this season, and though Milwaukee have been hitting well, Myers is doing well enough to keep them in check. April picks: 28-39 (-2.69)

nah I gave up on NBA and NHL. Too unpredictable. Though I do have the Magic in a future bet but that looks ******

Re: MLB: April 23rd 2011 Picks Tampa Bay -1.5 @ 2.42 San Francisco -1.5 @ 2.49 St Louis -1.5 @ 2.51 Chicago White Sox -1.5 @ 2.48 Houston @ 2.56 Adding: Florida - Colorado over 9.5 @ 2.25 pinnacle Vazquez is 1-1, with a 7.43 ERA and though he pitched better to allow just 3 runs in the 4-3 win at Philly, he did walk 4 batters, so he continues to have some problems in his pitching. He faces a good batting lineup here with several of them doing quite well against Vazquez in the past. Hammel starts for Florida and he is 1-1, with a 4.76 ERA and is coming off allowing 3 runs in the 8-3 loss to the Cubs, but the main concern with him is his past pitching record against Florida where he is 0-3 with an 8.22 ERA against them, with Ramirez in particular, batting well against him. Can see some runs scored here. Oakland -1.5 @ 2.38 pinnacle Cahill is 2-0, with a 2.49 ERA and he bounced back after allowing 4 runs on 6 hits in the 6-5 at the Chicago White Sox to give up 1 run on 4 htis, while striking out 9 batters in the 5-1 win over Detroit. He has not fared well against Seattle, as he is 1-3 with a solid 2.80 ERA in 6 starts against them. He faced them earlier this month where he allowed just 1 run and struck out 8 batters in the 6-2 loss to them, but they have since struggled to hit, and like Cahill to contain them once again. Vargas is 0-1, with a 4.37 and is coming off allowing 2 runs in the 8-3 loss to Detroit. He is 1-1 with a 4.24 ERA in 3 starts against Oakland as he allowed 1 run on 5 hits in the 5-2 win over them on April 2nd, but they do struggle to hit, but then again Oakland is not much better. Oakalnd have been shut out twice in a row and like their batters to come out even more focused and determined to ensure this does not happen for a third straight time, and give some runs to support Cahill with.
