mrmuzeman Posted December 29, 2004 Share Posted December 29, 2004 Hi guys, Ive been playing poker for a year and entering Ladbrokes tournaments for the last 6 months or so. I played some poker on SportingOdds once and thought the look of it was rubbish, much prefered Ladbrokes. I really like the layout and look of the software but wouldnt mind trying out some other sites just for a change. I plat at William Hill's and Betfair mainly, i like the fact that you can play in sterling, some sites only deal in dollars, nothing major but just a little extra i prefer. Also like the feel of the software at those places and its not that difficult to get in the prize money on the STT's if your paitent. Worked for Hills for 10yrs so i may be biased!! This is in terms of size, quality of software and choice of tournament. Every night they hold 1 or 2 dollar tourneys with 2000 entrants! (no rake either). The negative part to all of this is that the players on their are, on average, good. You will find easier tournaments elsewhere but it has to be said they are a cut above the rest. I would not say there are a lot of sites you can class as having "easy" tourneys mrmuz but as a guideline if you want easy sites then go for ones affiliated with online casinos or those who advertise to the normal punter. those who advertise in poker magazines or on poker programs are more likely to have good players In heavier abundances I find. I would def say that stars tourneys are noticeably harder than your average tourney if only for the tightness of all the players (you will know what I mean when you play one!).
