Billingsley is just 2-8 in his last 10 against the Rockies Tigers -124 to win 1 unit @ 5dimes Have a feeling people are too in love with the O's right now. Orioles are off to a great start, thanks to superb pitching. Bergesen is on the mound tonight, and Tigers can hurt him. He finished off last season well, and like him to continue that form here. Facing him is Pelfrey who allowed 5 runs on 4 hits in the 6-2 loss at Florida. Last year he struggled on the road and looks like he has started that way again this year, as he went 1-6 with a 6.57 ERA in his last 10 road starts last year. In Philadelphia, he is 1-2 with an 8.17 ERA as he allowed 6 runs in his only start there last season in the 10-0 loss to Philly. Detroit -1.5 @ 2.22 pinnacle Verlander started the season reasonably well with 3 runs on 3 hits and 4 walks in the 6-3 loss to the Yankees but expect him to improve against Baltimore here. He is 5-0 with a 2.52 ERA in 7 starts against them which Detroit has ended up winning each one, and last year he allowed 2 runs in the 6-2 win over them, and struck out 11 batters then. Bergesen comes in to pitch for Baltimore and he is 1-2 with a 3.86 ERA in 3 starts against Detroit. Believe Verlander outpitches him here and sets up a Detroit win as they have a good batting line up to match what Baltimore has done so far Cincinnati -1.5 @ 2.23 pinnacle Like Volquez to bounce back from his poor opening start where he allowed 5 run in the 7-6 victory over Milwaukee as he meets a team he had success against, going 4-0 with a 1.34 ERA in 5 starts against Houston. Houston continue to struggle to hit the ball, like last year, while pitching has also been an issue for them. Figuroa had problems during the spring and against a pretty good batting line up, believe that he will give up some runs here. Boston -1.5 @ 2.04 pinnacle Matsuzaka looks to give Boston their first win as he has a good record against Cleveland, going 4-1 with a 2.34 ERA, including allowing just 1 run and 9 hits in 2 games against them last year. In Cleveland, he has played their twice to allow just 4 hits all up, so Boston will be looking for another very good pitching performance from him. As for Cleveland, they have Talbot opens his season and has some limited action against Boston, starting once and also one relied appearance where he has a 7.71 ERA to show for it.
