Well Round Six looks like a great card and after I just said that lets hope no upsets spoil everything

Now the 1st mistake by the bookies looks to be the Waratahs game away to the brumbies.Yes they may have made them a lot of money in their loss against the Cheetahs but the Brumbies are awful.

There really is no reasonable comparison between the 2 sides and with a motivated Warratahs team looking to atone for the embarrassment they caused to their fans last week I expect an easy win.might take them on a -5 handicap too.

Stormers should easily beat the wrestern Force but they haven’t put a lot of points on the board this season so difficult to tell if they can go past the -8.5 although I expect them to do so. Dont rate the force at all.

I think as well as the crusaders have played a head start of +11.5 for the Sharks is way too much especially on neutral territory.

Another mistake is the +14.5 head start for the Cheetahs against an unimpressive Reds.

Good bets look like an outright for the Warratahs, -10.5 for the Hurricanes,-8.5 for the Stormers and a win at home for the Chiefs who I believe are just as good as the Blues.

I suspect Cheetahs (+14.5), Lions (+10.5) and Sharks (+11.5) may also just come through.

Thought on teams, injuries and possible upsets are welcome

Re: Super Rugby Round 6 Rebels +10.5 @ 2.05 centrebet The Rebels have alternated good form with bad over the last 5 weeks and have showed to be much better at home. Like them to once again to bounce back to some form here and keep this close, given that the Hurricanes are a side that also tends to be inconsistent when they play. The NZers have some very good backs and solid forwards but if the Rebels display the same form they did against the Sharks then they can give this a real shake and maybe cause an upset like they did against the Brumbies. Take the points for some extra protection here

Re: Super Rugby Round 6 Rebels +10.5 @ 2.05 :D Blues -3.5 @ 2.02 centrebet Both sides are more than capable of winning this on their day as they do have some talent in the backline. Where the edge for the Blues is in their forwards as they have plenty of experience and muscle up front, as what evident in their huge win over the Hurricanes last week. Out wide, Ranger can terrorise defences and his battle with Kahui and Umaga will be a highlight. The Chiefs can beat anyone on their day but they are very inconsistent and they had quite a bit of luck in beating the Sharks last week who were surprisingly poor, and should have been much better. The Blues have won 3 of the last 4 meetings, and with the form they have shown this year, deservedly go into this game as favourites. Brumbies - Waratahs under 46.5 @ 1.90 centrebet For the most part, despite the talrnt both sides have in their backlines, both teams have been ordinary with too much kicking and not enough penetration. Both sides are on losing streaks with the Brumbies having lost their last 3 games before the bye while the Waratahs have lost the last two games, and both will be seeking to tighten up their defences. These two teams tend to play tough games with little given, and it is no wonder that they have gone under the total in their last 4 meetings. With neither side in form with the ball, like them to keep it simple and look for territory and force the other team into mistakes, as they have had problems busting the opposition lines. Like the look of another low scoring game here

Re: Super Rugby Round 6 Crusaders -12.5 @ 2.06 centrebet They are playing this game in London to showcase the best of Super 15 rugby, with fittingly, the best team in the competition. The Crusaders have been very good, with their forwards gaining good yardage in the pick and drive, their scrum is very solid, and their lineout is providing good ball for their backs. Their backs have plenty of size and speed, and with their centres Williams and Fruean in great form, like them to show the northern hemisphere how good they are. The Sharks were fortunate to beat the Rebels and then were beaten by the Chiefs as poor ball handling cost them any chance of victory. From this game they lost their main player Lambie, and his kicking out of trouble, as well as the points he gains with the boot, will be missed by them. Expect the Crusaders to outmatch them both in the forwards and the backs, and for them to win this one well.
