leespam
Two for me tonight Huddersfield (-4) to beat Wigan @ 10/11 (Various) 2/5 Hudds with two solid wins at home this season vs. Bradford and Hull. Wigan come into this with both Tomkins brothers missing after a narrow, bad tempered affair at home to Hull. They do have some able replacements coming in though in the shape of Roberts and Tuson. My only worry is, taking the respective coaches styles into consideration, this could easily turn into a low-scoring arm wrestle - especially so considering the experienced men Hudds have brought into this weeks squad. I'll take a chance on Hudds taking this one by more than 4 though. Catalans to beat Crusaders @ 2.16 (Betfair) 2/5 I thought Catalans were unlucky last week. A bit more 'nous' around the tryline and they could easily have pushed Cas' - who scored two long range breakaway tries remember - closer. Crusaders appear to be treading water after trouncing Salford at MM with a lot of focus being on the 3 overseas players awaiting Visas. Late scoring has disguised some really poor performances so I'll take the Dragons for this one tonight. GL all :hope :ok
soundingstylish
Re: Rugby League: Super League Rd 6 & Co-Op Champs Huddersfield v Wigan - Wigan To Score First @ 10/11 - William Hill 5pts Haven't got a clue about Rugby League but I do know Wigan have a good chance of scoring first. They scored first 29 out of 32 games last season and all five this season.
Labrador
Re: Rugby League: Super League Rd 6 & Co-Op Champs There is a decent-looking bet in Championship 1 on Sunday with Swinton (-6) at Rochdale Hornets who continue to have major injury problems: http://www.hornetsrugbyleague.co.uk/article.php?id=4184 Swinton are one of the pre-season favourites for promotion who overcame a tough Workington side last week without really firing. They had been having goal-kicking problems (the curse of any handicap bet), but with Ian Mort restored to kicking duties, the two pointers are going over. Swinton have the experienced Tommy Gallagher and Gavin Dodd currently firing on all cylinders, and it would be surprising if they cannot comfortably cover the 6-point handicap offered by Bet 365. Rochdale Hornets v Swinton Lions (-6) at 10/11.

It was actually 11/10 as well :ok
Drogba's Bitch
Re: Rugby League: Super League Rd 6 & Co-Op Champs Thought Wigan were excellent tonight. Defence was very tight and with that many key players out that was a great win. Shows the strength in depth they have in their squad. Thought they struggle with the kicking game but the key plays were spot on. The kick from O'Loughlin for the second try was superb. Josh Charnley looked a really good player and was a well deserved mom. 2 big games coming up for for Wigan next and if they win both of them they will be well on there way with the big players slowly coming back. slizorn
Re: Rugby League: Super League Rd 6 & Co-Op Champs 3pts Harlequins +18.0 @ 1.90 bet365 Harlequins won their last match against Wigan and have been given a huge handicap to beat Warrington. Yes Warrington are in good form, but so are Harlequins, I reckon with the handicap this bet will win. Harlequins showed us last week that they are no pushovers when they beat Wigan. :hope
Drogba's Bitch
Re: Rugby League: Super League Rd 6 & Co-Op Champs They beat Saints not Wigan and the problems Saints are having it wasn't a massive surprise. Tight one to call depends on team news for me. if the Wolves have a few players back they could romp it, if not it could be close to the cap
kevshat
Re: Rugby League: Super League Rd 6 & Co-Op Champs I'd like to think we can stay within 3 tries of them. We haven't been beaten heavily all season yet and won at Leeds and Saints but Warrington can have 10 minute periods where they rattle off 18pts which we can't do. We have point scorers of our own but we'll need to play well to stay close.
