getusedtowinning Posted March 2, 2011 Share Posted March 2, 2011 NBA 1* (711) PHOENIX SUNS @ (712) BOSTON CELTICS OVER 198 Los Soles de Phoenix han ido al over en 4/5 partidos (aunque esto incluye 2 en tiempo extra) contra equipos no precisamente talentosos en el lado ofensivo de la cancha (especialmente NJ e Indiana) hoy verán otro tipo de animal pues se enfrentan a una eficiente ofensiva y en cuanto a fg% se refiere a la mejor, de tal forma que su reciente mejorÃa en el lado defensivo se verá truncada por un equipo que aún con su lento estilo de juego llega a los 98ppg por juego. Los cambios realizados por Boston si bien no los afecta mucho desde una perspectiva de spread si es importante tomar en cuenta las caracterÃsticas de los jugadores involucrados cuando se habla de totales. De tal forma no es difÃcil identificar que un equipo de donde parte Perkins y recibe a Jeff Green y al talentoso (ofensivamente) centro de Europa del este pierde intensidad defensiva pero enriquece su arsenal ofensivo. No sólo eso, los Celtics vienen regresando de una gira por el oeste y con un dÃa de descanso tendrán piernas para correr pero no el enfoque necesario para defender. El último encuentro entre estos equipos fue un fácil over con un total de 159puntos, esperen un juego mucho más entretenido tomando en cuenta que desde la llegada de Garnett y Allen a Boston estos equipos se han enfrentado en 5 ocasiones, resultando en 4 over 2 under, y 2-1 para los juegos en Boston. Los totales de dichos juegos no dejan duda para el over con 214, 213, 214 y 236 como resultado final con juegos listados en 200 el más bajo y en 207 el 2do más bajo, ciertamente un ajuste excesivo para este juego. Es muy importante tomar en cuenta que en este rango (195-200) ambos equipos tienen un registro combinado de 12-3 al over. Take the Over NBA 1* (715) CHARLOTTE BOBCATS @ (716) DENVER NUGGETS OVER 201 Es hora de tomar en serio las declaraciones de George Karl cuando dijo que querÃa que su equipo aprovechara su profundidad y su talento –corriendo como locos-, ciertamente tienen el personal adecuado y si bien les ha costado adaptarse ya tienen algunos entrenamientos juntos por lo que pienso que veremos a este equipo finalmente –explotar- en el lado ofensivo. Por el otro lado viene a visitarlos un equipo que también gusta de correr la cancha sin problema y que desde la pausa ha anotado 114, 110 y 86 pts (contra Orlando) por lo que esperarÃa que ambos equipos anotaran por arriba de los 100pts dándonos una cómoda victoria. Para Denver este será su último en juego en casa antes de partir a una gira de 3 juegos y para Charlotte es el primer juego de una gira asà que ambos equipos deben jugar con energÃa y eso es todo lo que necesitamos. Take the Over NBA 1* (717) PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS -3 These Blazers teams played some horrible basketball yesterday against a hot Rockets team, fortunately for them (and for us) they now will face a Sacramento team that doesn’t present a big challenge for them or for any NBA team, especially for one that’s fighting to go into the playoffs. This is a matter of supporting the better basketball team in a strong bounce back situation, it also happens to be a great team in this price range as they are 12-3 ATS this season as a favorite of less than 4 points. On the other side the Kings are just 3-7 ATS in that price range. Expect a nice effort to win and cover by the road team. The Hornets have had 2 of their last 10 games go over 200 points and one of them went into OT. However, the Knicks are a high scoring team and rank 9th in offensive efficiency. However, I think the most important stat is the Hornets ranking 6th in defensive efficiency and last in pace. I think they will slow down the game, and stop the Knicks having so many chances. NY may have scored 110 points at Orlando, and 109 at Cleveland, but they had 86 FG attempts against the Magic and 93 against the Cavs. The Hornets won't give them this opportunity and I feel this will stay Under the total. Warriors had unders yesterday and they very rarely play consecutive unders. Besides Wizards have got worse defense than Pacers had yesterday against Warriors and I expect Golden State to get it going a lot earlier than it happen last night. They will be playing back to back which is always a bit tough so won't have good defensive performance themselves. Wizards will be without their head coach Saunders tonight, so that will be a factor as well which might play a negative role for Wizards. Anyway fully expect this match to be a high scoring affair with totals around 220 points. 2) Suns +7 AH @ Celtics. 1.92 @ Pinnacle (8/10) Not having 7 points spread here. Suns are fast improving team and have got their new roster playing really well. I've been particularly impressed with Nash and Gortat partnership. Suns have beaten Celtics 3 times in a row now with the latest win coming in January. Suns hammered Celtics by 17 points at home. Boston for me is a team which doesn't win by big margins and considering that this one will be against a quality team like Suns I really can't see them covering this line. Suns +7 for me in this one. 3) Clippers vs Rockets. Under 212 pts. 1.98 @ Pinnacle (7/10) Quite frankly this one looks a bit too much for totals. Houston has changed a little since the trade deadline and Clippers generallyu seem to struggle against them. Either way even if LAC can manage to get a win @ Staples Center, don't think it will be a high scoring affair. 211 points is about 5-6 more than my projected line was, so taking unders here.
