kevshat
Re: Rugby League: Super League Round 3, National Rail Cup & World Club Challenge 3pts Warrington (+6) to beat St Helens Evs Boylesports Warrington haven't won at St Helens since the dinosaurs became extinct but I think they have a much better chance than normal tonight with Knowsley Road no longer in use. I think the Wolves were often intimidated there and I can't see that being the case at the Stobart, Saints' home for this season. I actually think Warrington have what it takes to win this match even without Matt King. They are so potent at the back and very strong in the middle. Saints are still without Leon Pryce and I'm not sure about Scott Moore yet. In Briers, Monaghan and Myler, Warrington keep causing this Saints defence problems and on a more level playing field for a Saints vs Warrington game I can see Warrington keeping this close if not actually pip it. Wolves with the 6 for me.
harry_rag
Re: Rugby League: Super League Round 3, National Rail Cup & World Club Challenge :ok Good call on Warrington. Had that one pretty close to the handicap but hadn't really factored in Saints home ground situation. Might have a bet on one or two of Sunday's games but probably no bet for tomorrow. harry_rag
Re: Rugby League: Super League Round 3, National Rail Cup & World Club Challenge 2 for me today: Huddersfield -10 at evens with Betfred I've got them a good 16 points better than Hull in this one so worth a shot, missed the chance to get -8 at 10/11. Wakefield -4.5 at 2.2 on Betdaq I have them 10 points superior to Salford. Evens available for the same bet with Spreadex and Extrabet. kevshat
Re: Rugby League: Super League Round 3, National Rail Cup & World Club Challenge 3pts Wigan to beat St George Illawarra Dragons Evs William Hill I'm really looking forward to this. It's the classic attack vs defence scenario. And on this occasion I think the attack will win. Wigan are so potent in attack and attack with such number that I just see them at some point piercing this excellent defence. It must be said St George are coming here with some serious playing talent but they will be going into the lions den of a home crowd and unlike the last two Aussie sides who have come over and won this event, they haven't played too much warm up rugby. Melbourne played a few games last year and it showed. It could show this year but in the opposite way. Wigan have had two solid matches in the Super League and that should have them bang on for this match. I think the Aussies could tire a bit towards the end, especially in heavy conditions. They'll also be without their coach who has returned home so I think Wigan just about have enough in their favour to keep the title on these shores for 2011.
