dajkula Posted January 26, 2011 Share Posted January 26, 2011 Event Bloemfontein Celtic vs Kaizer Chiefs Selection under 1.5 Strength 10/10 Date 26/01/2011 Bookmaker/Price Sportingbet @ 2.55 Reasoning Bloemfontein is sixth in the lague with an unbeaten home record while Kaizer is fourth in the league and a fourth away side with a mixture of results, mostly positive although a loss against Ajax away did not sit right. Their best player Tshabalala is on the move to Not.Forrest so will be missing this clash but the team has other great talents. Kaizer is a great attacking side with good counters and a prolific scorer in the likes of Knowledge Musona but for this trip are missing a couple of starters so Bloemfontein will have their chances. Celtic has problems scoring at home but the defence is at a good level and have only received 5 goals in 8 matches while scored 11. Kaizer has the upper hand in mutual meetings the last couple of times but mostly have been tough encounters. This is a Soweto Derby and both teams come into this game with good form. For this match however, Pirates have lots of injury concerns especially in midfield where the game will be won or lost. Kaizer Chiefs have no injury worry but Pirates will miss the services of keeper Josephs Moeneeb, Lucas Thwala, Dikgang Mabalane, Benson Mhlongo, Daine Klate through injury, key midfielders Tlou Segolela, Clifford Ngobeni through suspension and the following are doubtful Mark Mayambela, Andile Jali, Thulasizwe Mbuyane. Kaizer Chiefs are favourites to win this encounter but they have a leaky defence and conceed goals.
