Reasoning	Anaheim in coming off to tonights game in a four game losing streak altough they haven't played that bad. Three of those games were on road from which two were resulted in OT (all four games where decided by a one goal difference). They have been good on home ice though winning seven out of ten games played outscoring the opponents 31-26. Special teams have been excellent with pp at 22.2% and pk at 81.9%. Hiller is the probable starter and he has been solid posting a .917save% during 17 games played. Edmonton is going trough a very tough spell right now and they are coming off in to tonights match with a six game losing streak. Their defense has totally fallen apart in many games as a result they've lost eight out of last ten games being outscored 46-24. The defensive problems have been especially visible when playing on road where they've lost eight out of ten games being outscored 47-28. Powerplay has been okey at 15.1% but pk has been dismal at 67.6%. The number one goalie Khabibulin has posted a .879save% with a 4.07GAA in 15 games played and as a result it's probable that the backup goalie Dubnyk will get the nod tonight. Dubnyk has posted a great .924save% although with a 2.93GAA during five games so far. Home advantage should be concidred huge here as Anaheim has been playing much better infront of their fans and on the other hand Edmonton has been regularly falling apart on road. Look for Anaheim to give loads of pressure with physical play to the shaky Oilers defense. This should lead to plenty of scoring chances and with Anaheims powerplay working so well they should have no problem converting against a poor pk when given the chance. Low odds on the home -1.5hc but the win withing regulation has enough juice in the price to give it a try.

Reasoning	Vancouver is coming off to tonights match with a three game losing streak mostly due to bad defending. Their latest game was a real nightmare as Vancouver hosted Chicago only to end up being the losing side with a 1-7 final score. Of last nine games played the Canucks have allowed atleast three goals in six occasions so it's no wonder the offense can't keep up although scoring 32 goals in last ten games. On home ice they've been good winning six of eight games played outscoring the opponents 27-19. Special teams have been excellent with pp at 27.0% and pk at 86.7%. Luongo is set to start and he has been fairly good with a .907save% and a 2.86GAA during 15 games (the Canucks expect better performances from him, no doubt). Phoenix has been very successful of late winning five straight games. On road they've also posted nice numbers winning five out of ten games played being able to make many of the games tight affairs (five games ended with a one goal difference). Scecial teams have been so-so with pp at 16.9% and pk at 78.7%. Bryzgalov is set to start on goal and he has been solid through 17 games played posting a .918save% and a 2.80GAA. While Vancouver should be concidered a favourite here no doubt they are still going through huge defensive problems. I expect them to come in playing a simple game not trying to make many mistakes after last games fiasko against Chicago. This should suit Phoenix just fine as they like to play it tight on road and it's been working for them so far. So in my opinion this should be a tight affair and Pinnacle's offering on Phoenix +1.0 is more than enough for me to bite and offers nice protection.

Re: NHL 2010/2011 November Colorado Avalanche (-1.5 goals) vs. Edmonton Oilers @ 3.30 (Ladbrokes) The Oilers are currently one of the weakest teams in the league and are really struggling to score never mind win games. The Avalanche have played well and will look to rebound here after a tough loss at the Canucks the previous night. However, they have plenty of goals in them and the Oilers Khabibulin is out should help them. The Oilers have a -30 goals difference even though Anderson will probably be out for the Avs again, Budaj has generally done a decent job and I reckon the Avalanche will be able to win this by two goals.
