    Krajinovic's game was almost flawless until he served for the match. And then he choked..completely choked. Nerves started to do their thing and once again it turned out that Filip does not have a good mentality for this kind of matches..it's a shame becuse he fought and really played good  tennis and he showed that victory over Thiem was not "one match wonder".
    Hope that his coach,Janko Tipsarevic,could work on his mental issues as well as on his game..

    As for the Raonic. He was nowhere until the end of second set. But from that time on he was on fire. He gave no chance to Filip. My impression is that he improved his bh for a bit,while his fh is like some missile on the fast surface like this one. Still,he have to do much better against Tsitsipas.

    Just a couple of notes from my side:
    - The surface seems extremely fast and it will be faster as the tournament progresses, the bounce of the ball is low, which the tournament in Lexington has already indicated, and it fits into the trend.
    - it was a very warm and steamy late summer day in NYC
    - the corona rules work,there were almost no problems 
    - Krajinovic struggled a lot against Caruso,if he continues with such a game,Thiem will destroy him in next round

    If I undestand correctly they plan to insert Madrid and Rome Masters in between USO and RG. What this mean is that we will have 6 weeks of top tennis after a 5,6 months of break...not to mention changing continents and surfaces..of course there is possibility that all tournaments will be played, but the question is who will play them?

    This is crazy i think..i hope there is someone who will say "stop this madness!"

    So,football is coming back this weekend in Serbian "Super" League..and funny thing is that the first match is between Vojvodina and Cukaricki,which was actually last fixture i tipped on this topic back in October.

    I won't write about these two clubs again..you have all written in that post..i however fancy Vojvodina again even though there will be no audience. There are three reasons why i believe that the home side will prevail. 
    First,even without home supporters.i think Vojvodina is very strong on the "Karadjordje" Stadium in Novi Sad. On the other hand..Cukaricki haven't won a single match on the road since October 2019..pretty poor record for the team this quality if you ask me..
    Secondly,Cukaricki will have some absences in the squad..three very important midfielders are out due to injuries and suspensions. Vojvodina will have full squad available. 
    Finally,from what i read in Serbian newspaper,i understood that Cukaricki is much more interested in the Cup competition than League..they have very big match upcoming on Wednesday against Radnicki Nis on home ground. It's a quarter-final stage of the Cup and it's seems like they got more focus on that match..of course Vojvodina will also play on Wednesday but against a weaker opponent..Vojvodina still has bigger motive in the "Super" League,trying to finish the season as runner-ups. 

    So,for me Vojvodina @1.90 2pt (local bookie)

    Serbian players are also quite busy these days trying to put tennis back on the map.

    In his Tennis Academy Janko Tipsarevic will organize Eastern European Championship..now don't be fooled by the name of a event because there will be some participants from other parts of the Continent as well..
    In the mens draw so far are confirmed players like Miomir Kecmanovic,Viktor Troicki,Laslo Djere,Damir Dzumhur,Dusan Lajovic,Nikoloz Basiashvili,Ricardas Berankis,Alejandro Davidovich Fokina..with Filip Krajinovic,Borna Coric and Marin Cilic are also expected to enter to venue.

    As for the womens part..Dalila Jakupovic,Jana Fett,Irina Begu,Patricia Maria Tig,Danka Kovinic,Olga Danilovic,Jasmine Paolini,Tamara Zidansek are so far on the list..

    Tournament will start on June,15 in Belgrade.

    But..but that's not all folks. Even bigger event is coming in the organization of World number one,Novak Djokovic. It's called "Adria Tour" and it will last from June 13 to July 5. This event will take place in several places of the region: Novak's Tennis Center (Belgrade) 13/14 June,Zadar (Croatia) 21/22 June, Montenegro 27/28 June, Banjaluka (Bosnia and Hercegovina) 3/4 July,with one more exhibition match between Novak Djokovic and Damir Dzumhur in Sarajevo on 5th the July.
    Except Novak Djokovic,who is going to play all this two-days tournaments,biggest names are Dominic Thiem and Grigor Dimitrov. Of course,a majority of the Serbian and Croatian players are expected to take part..and more players from Europe.

    It's a shame that Janko and Novak didn't find a way to join forces and create one event,but there you go..we'll have two of them. And both of them will be televised.
