Fabio Fognini to beat Roberto Carballes Baena at 1.91 with Pinnacle

An excellent price for Fognini imo. Sure, I get all the risks that this bet comes with, but he's still a class player on his day and this is an Italian tournament, so he should try at the very least. I've seen a bit of Baena recently and I wasn't impress all that much either, so I'm going to go with the price on Fognini and oppose the market that thinks that he's in no shape whatsoever.

Fognini is tested positive on corona virus.

  2. I would like to say something about the Nadal - PCB match.

It is true that the handicap line is set very high and it seems that PCB should cover it, but keep in mind that the PCB went deep at the US Open, that he literally played a match against Zverev five days ago.
I guess he flew to Rome the next day which means he lost a whole day on the road. He only had three days to prepare for this match. And there are also factors of fatigue, jet lag and in the first place - the factor of changing the surface.
Changing the surface from hard to clay is one of the most difficult and demanding changes in tennis.

On the other hand, it is true that Nadal did not play a competitive match for a long time, but he trained on clay all the time and had excellent preparations for this clay season.

I'm not saying this to "distract" anyone from their picks, but because it should be kept in mind.

So my outright on Djokovic goes down the tubes but to be honest I can live with that. There's no question Djokovic is one the finest players ever to play the game, but he's not likeable and he never will be. Incidents like today show his true character, and the amount of times he's injured or ill during matches does him no favours either.

Are you serious writing this stuff? What character?
    It was a f***** accident..

  4. Two more picks for me today and no more,i promise :lol

    Dimitrov G. - Paul T. over 3.5 sets @1.60 (local bookie Soccerbet)
I don't fancy Grisha too much these days to be honest. His game have too many ups and downs and except of last year his US Open record is very modest. Paul is no world beater but with his big serve and ground strokes he can be dangerous. They met in A.Open earlier this year and it was a long, five setter match.

    Jabeur O. - Kawa K. under 18.5 games @1.65 (local bookie Meridianbet)
I expect a pretty routine job for the Tunisian player. Jabeur was solid lately,i think she have a good mentality and game stability. About Kawa i don't know much but this pick is all about Jabeur and i hope she will deliver.

    GL :hope

  5. I completely agree with Torque over Zverev - Anderson and Goffin - Opelka matches.
So,my choice is going to be:

    Anderson K. - Zverev A. over 3.5 sets @1.70 (local bookie)
    Opelka R. - Goffin D. over 3.5 sets @1.60 (local bookie)

Also,i'm going with one match which is my original pick:
    Krajinovic F. - Ymer M. under 35.5 games @1.90 (local bookie)

You never know with Filip Krajinovic, but i hope he can deliver an easy victory here. He was very good last week in Cincinnati. Yes,he struggled with Caruso in first march, but then he was briliant against both Thiem and Fucsovics. He even served for the match against Raonic. Ymer debuts in the main draw of US Open. Swede player lost to Harris last week, and also lost to Krajinovic in Montpellier early this year by 61 61. Like i said..it's not easy to trust Krajinovic, but with this line and odds i'm willing to take risk

    GL :hope
