Nothing running tomorrow catches my eye so going to go with Tallulah's Quest in the Amateur riders race. Trainer Julia Feilden has made a habit of winning these heats and looks to have mapped out a plan for this 4yo. A decent 3rd last time out at Yarmouth over 7f behind Moi Aussie and now is dropped a furlong and a pair of cheek pieces added.

Morning Royalty 11/4 bet365 (3/1 Laddies)
I learnt many years ago that any course form at places like Cartmel was worth its weight in gold and Morning Royalty is worth following tomorrow. He won the race last year and won on this card two years ago. He's quite lightly raced and gets fit at other places and delivers the goods here.
Brian Hughes is on top again and should be spot after his 3rd at Perth last time.

Trainer gave the strong impression beforehand he would come on for the race

Class 2handicap but I think South Seas is up to winning in this grade. Ran here 15 days ago and finished 7th but that was a decent sighter for today and wont mind any of this rain up here in the North West. Looks decent value and has a good draw.

I like Kingscote and Dascombe here even more than at Chester. Their best chance on a tricky card looks to be the improving Dance On The Day in the fillies race. She showed nothing on debut last year at Newmarket but improved to win on the AW at Wolves, coming from a poor position to win in the last stride. We can expect much more as she gains experience.

Every flat meeting at Haydock I back Dascombe/Kingscote blindly. Tomorrow I’ve done a small ew lucky 63 on their 6 runners. I remember doing a lucky 15 on my birthday in July last year doing the same thing and I had 3 out of 4 winners which returned a nice profit!! Good luck with this one Graham @BillyHills

Today's donkey is What A Welcome who bolted up at Newbury last time out and has a similar chance here off the same mark. That run was his third victory on the trot in four runs for this yard and his first on turf since last summer. He is due to go up 7lbs next week so it could be the last time in this sort of grade.

Was, and I think only a 6lb rise for that as well, should easily have enough to overcome

Backed the last twice and now drops back in trip to get the job done. Jamie Spencer is back on top and I reckon he will prove very difficult to beat off the same mark as last time. He has won here over this trip before and its interesting the hood has been dispensed with this time. Major player for yard who in good nick.

This looks a good price for an in form Mark Johnston horse, the yard are flying at the minute and this one only ran 4 days ago at Newmarket. He was 2nd to Warsaan only beaten a head and a repeat of that run will do here. Its a quick turn out but you can usually rely on the Johnston runners. The obvious fly in wotsit is the Haggas horse who has shown zilch to date but you just know there is much more to come, lets hope he needs the run! If they back that into favourite we are in trouble I suspect.

Starlight Mystery looks interesting back in a handicap and up in trip here. Last run was in a cavalry charge in October at Newmarket when finishing 19th of 28 beaten 9 lengths. Her run prior to that was in a Group 3 in Germany when a not disgraced 6th of 9. Her last handicap run was at Goodwood back in August on unsuitable soft ground. She ran off 85 that day and finished 6th but only beaten 1 and a half lengths. The winner of that race was 1000 Guineas hero Billesdon Brook so that form obviously looks very strong now. Starlight Mystery runs off 2lbs lower today and gets her preferred good to firm ground. 15/2 available looks a fair price.
