    Tottenham vs Bayern Munich
The Champions League is back tonight and I'm looking at the highly-anticipated clash between Premier League club Tottenham and reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in an 8pm BST kick-off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The two sides began their campaigns in this competition in relatively satisfactory manners and a win here for either side will put them in a great early position to qualify from Group B.
Tottenham have had a rough time of it lately. If the rumours of Christian Eriksen catching Jan Vertonghen sleeping with his wife are to be believed then the fractured squad might take some time to heal. Mauricio Pochettino looks like a man without many answers and patience that is running out. However, after the 1-1 draw away at Olympiakos in their opening group game and a 2-1 win at home to Southampton on the weekend there might just be a changing of the tide.
Bayern Munich were convincing winners in their opening 3-0 win against Red Star Belgrade. Niko Kovac's team have started this season with a real sense of purpose. Undefeated in domestic action with 4 wins and 2 draws so far. This will arguably be their toughest test so far this season against last season's Champions League finalists but if you compare how these two sides have performed up until now this season you would struggle to argue against the German side winning this game.
These two sides last met in the 1983/84 UEFA Cup when Spurs prevailed as 2-1 winners on aggregate. That was the season they won their last major European trophy. Bayern Munich have failed to beat Tottenham in England. Bayern Munich have also developed a habit of grinding out results on the road in this competition now unbeaten in their last 9 away Champions League games. I can see this being a tight game with the odd goal deciding it. Tottenham kept three clean sheets at home in this competition last season. I can't help feel that a more cohesive Bayern side might prevail.

Hey, @The Maximiser, @Ratso, do you want to export daily ELO ratings or ratings for individual leagues?
If it is daily ratings, I can offer help untill your request is resolved. Indeed, data can be copied only into single column, even when using web query within Excel, so I created a small workbook that parses data into a proper table. You can download it from here: https://rvasi.me/files/Punters-Lounge-parse-ELO-ratings.xlsx
Instructions are inside, and please note again, it works only for daily ratings, not for individual leagues, they appeared to be too stubborn... 😫

Think Brentford and Wolves should do this in 90 Minutes.... Other Games are very close... Expected very tough Games here and specially in Newport i smell a surprise. For Sure Pullis take FA-Cup serious - every Time but now they must made Changes. They have 2 important Games in next Days with League Games against Leeds and Sheffield United. So if they want the Promotion i think 100% Focus is on the Championship...

Going today on Norwich, Middlesbrough AHC 0, the Draw in Rotherham-QPR Game and a Both2Score in the Leeds Game.
Both opponents from Norwich and M´brough are missing important Offensive Players. Norwich on the other Side are on Fire and Middlesbrough are brutaly effecitve. Best Defensive in the League and some good Options in Front.
Rotherham are unbeaten a long Time in Home Games and dominate the Game against Sheffield last Weekend. Think QPR are little bit overrated at the Moment and think a Draw is very possible.

interesting fixtures. i think i'm going to have a go at these.........
burnley better away than at home this season, burnley to win 1-0
west brom always hard to beat and do to what they do best defend deep, score counter attack, shut up shop, west brom win 1-0
swansea to me doesn't look like they will survive in the premiership and not scoring goals, brighton win 1-0
bilic did it to tottenham so why not liverpool, west ham to win 2-1
watford looks exciting in attack and creating oppotunites, everton need new manager and january transfer window asap, watford to win 2-1
this one is more of gut feeling than anything else. tottenham have occasionally struggled after big champions league games so crystal palace to win 2-0 and zaha to score first

Totally agree with Burton. They aren't good enough to stay in the division if they play their natural game and they know it, so it's just a survival thing each week. Their aim is to probably consolidate and eventually build up over a couple of seasons with more revenue coming in.

burton are such a zig zag team because whenever they get beaten they go into next game and become hard to beat. they basically defender 90 minutes and play for a point. that kind of style rarely get's you three points in games. burton have not scored in five and i just think this league is too hard for them. i'm going to be taking ipswich to win
i was surprised by millwall's win last time over birmingham but then again they were the home side but away on their travels they haven't won this season. cardiff is an obvious choice here for that reason
preston are funny side but they draw too many games and often times they give me wrong impression are hard to pinned down. by the look of their record this season they played three goalless draw while also some goal fests. i have no idea how they will approach game this time
qpr are not looking like winning games but they are chipping points from many teams recently. they have managed to draw 5 out of 7 games although i don't see it against wolverhampton. wolverhampton are proving to be real in this division
i can't really read anything into reading. statistically they are just all over the place and you never know what result they are going to be on the end off next. i think they can do better and i am hopeful with home advantage they do win this one. 2 wins for middlesbrough in 10 games speak for itself.
bristol city is my favorite team in this division because at you know they will  probably score but away this time i am little bit wary of sunderland potential. they have made habit of finding the back of the net recently. their last three matches were 1-1, 2-2, 3-3 draws. i am tempted by sunderland win

Seeing as though we have a good number of domestic leagues, I see no reason why we shouldn't extend the ELO ratings to cover Champions League and Europa League, and we're on it!

Keep an eye out for them appearing on the menu.

It looks like Burton A have some problems with few regulars, Akpan and Varney will be out, Warnock , lund and Mousinnho are doubts. I bet on this league for long time but I never paid attention what time we can expect line up confirmation, can any one give me a clue about it?
Current odd on Shefield W is around 2.1, I think  bet on visitors AH -0.25 @1.85 is not bad option.

Fancying Fulham today at Ipswich, I know Ipswich have had a good start but I can't see them lasting the pace. Fulham will come good and rise up the table before long. Took them a while to get going last season too. Think they will shade it too but at 11/10 can'take be ignored.
Doncaster travel to Wimbledon who are struggling on the goal front although Doncaster haven't made a blistering start or anything, they can score. Think they might shade it today at 17/10.
My other two selection are Blackpool and Peterborough who are taking on teams who have had the lowest shot tallies in the whole league set up. My work colleague is a season ticket holder at Oldham and she says they're crap. Blackpool will win this at 6/5 and Peterborough who have made a great start are 13/8.
    Fulham 11/10 Doncaster 17/10 Blackpool 6/5 and Peterborough 13/8

I have refrained from betting on the football league matches so far as I've felt it's all been a bit more of a lottery than normal at this early stage.

However, I can't see past a home win for Millwall against Norwich today.

Millwall have played well so far this season without getting the reward imo. In their last home game, they battered Ipswich yet went on to lose 4-3, with a combination of bad luck and poor goalkeeping.

Norwich on the other hand have been poor. If anything they have been even worse defensively than last season, which is saying something. It seems like Farke doesn't know his best 11, and has been rotating/resting players already.

I think Millwall will definitely be giving someone a good beating soon, and I can easily see that day being today against a below par Norwich side. Millwall at odds of around 7/4.

According to ratings in past two home games even Brentford drew with Bristol C and lost to Nottingham F, Brentford were unlucky not to win. For this match with Wolves I'll go for BTTS at 1.63 as seems both teams capable of attacking (at least that's what ratings say to me).

    Today 1st of July
     18:00 Lillestrøm - Strømsgodset
This game will be played at Åråsen Stadion in natural grass, while guests use artificial at home.
Well after lost in Derby last week against Vålerenga  3-1, Lillestrøm  is concentrated in 15th round in a tough game againts Strømsgodset.  Lillestrøm is in 11th place with 17 points.  In last 5 they won three draw one and lost one.  Key player striker E. Knudtzon 13/5 is back after suspension and will be a good option in offensive repart.
In the other side Strømsgodset in 14th place, last 5 matches only a victory over Viking, eliminated in Cup from Mjondalen lost againts Rosenborg and two draw in a row Vålerenga and Molde last round.
Midfielder Bassel Jradi  14/3 and striker Marcus Pedersen are out today.
Lillestrøm need to win today to avoid as much possible the relegation zone and i think they are favorites to take three points againts Strømsgodset.
    Pick : Home win 2.00 @Pinnacle  9/10. Good luck.
