  1. Re: RussP's Specialisation - Big Field Handicaps (Flat)

2 more disappointments, so need to get back on the winning trail soon: 7.20 Kempton Field of just 8 take to the course for this 6f, Class 6 handicap. With the small number of runners, I can't believe I've got a double figure price on: Drum Dance (10/1 Betfred) - Off same mark again of 52, but is back to best trip over favoured course tonight. Lto, raced far too keen off a slowish pace. With a faster pace, should go well tonight and come with a burst late on. Usually goes well too 2nd race after an absence and I just think this horse is hugely overpriced. Conditions are perfect, smallish field and class / trip / track ideal, get on at the 10's. Is as low as 7's elsewhere.
good luck russ:ok i've just seen this and taken 8's at sportingbet
  2. Re: wolverhampton 15/02(evening) bit of a fun bet for me tonight... nigella 2050 the gambled on horse at 9/2 arthurs dream 1950 at 8/1, in a quality class 7 classified stakes lol. arthurs dream has a recent 2nd in a class 6, same jockey up, never won over this distance but put in a decent performance lto over same c and d. £10 double, nearly 50/1 lol. at laddies by the way anyway off to the pub now, best of luck you die hards watching wolves on a friday night....hats off to ya:clap:clap:clap best of luck tish

  3. Re: Fakenham 15/02 wistow get that one in your notebooks for next time....what a surprise 14's into 7's on course from 25's early. ran green, snatched up short of room at halfway, in what seemed a pretty rough race. ran on really well when the penny finally dropped with 3 furlongs to go from nowhere to get 5th. pound to a penny this will be out again in the next 2 weeks in a class 5 or 6 bumper at another nowhere course and pop in at double figure odds. tish

  4. 2050 nigella been a massive move for this one backed in at all rates from 16's into a general 7/2 with some 9/2 in places. looks like a significant move that i will be having a go on. trainer in good form(es mcmahon) 2 from 2 in last 2 weeks, cd form, pipe opener at kempton 3 weeks ago. i must be getting old, i remember its sire band on the run trained by brian mcmahon landing a few touches a few years ago:( dt

  5. Re: Fakenham 15/02 ey up lads no info from me for this one, but this horse in the bumper fits the profile of a touch in the making. keep your eyes on substantial market moves for the pam sly trained wistow in the 16.40 currently 25's at betfred, ive had a little at 40's on betfair, however looks like there are couple of handy types from the bigger yards. pam sly does well in these contests, and you would have to take note if the price came in at all.. tish

  6. hi all anyone any ideas of a solution to a problem i am having logging into paradise poker. i have got a new laptop, but was having problems on my desktop before i got the new comp. i have had a sporting odds/paradise poker a/c for a couple of years. when i got the new laptop i went to so's website, and used the download poker link. no problems all on laptop ok, got the 1st screen username/password. put my details in which i know are right cos i can log in to my sportingbet a/c and put a bet on. then it clicks thru as if it is going to login, but then i get the message "unable to connect please try again later" other boss a/c's i have reg'd are virgin/poker.co.uk/poker trillion/i4poker. but this is the 1st boss software on my new laptop! i thought it was a firewall issue or service pack 2 on my desktop so just sacked it, but i am now itching 4 a game of poker. paradise doesn't use webdollar so i guess its nothing to do with them, but this is really doing my head in now!!!!!:wall anyone had the same problem or got another link i can try?????? help appreciated :ok tish

  7. Re: NEWBURY-SAT 9th FEB

Im another on the Moyhayer bandwagon and Blue Sq now going 20's - Taken :ok No point adding reasons as they have already been mentioned - 11lbs for one length is nuts!!!
same here im on at 16's with laddies:ok this 11lbs for 1 length, does that include the 7lbs off for the apprentice on board??? anyone tell me?? cheers tish edit.... i should have read mileni's post sry for being dumb!!!
  8. Re: NEWBURY-SAT 9th FEB ey up lads mephisto totesport trophy now dont get me wrong i aint lumping on this, but i have heard that mephisto is going well at home, and even off a massive 11st 2lbs, you should get a run for your money at a fancy price. saying that looks a good race, i will be having minimum stakes each way at 50's with hills. best of luck tish

  9. Re: Ludlow 6/2/08 1.40 major suspect no massive word for this, but i have been following the bumper form it came 5th in at aintree in october. the race has thrown up numerous winners down to 8th place, and looked a pretty good contest for this type of race. major suspect has been declared for 4 or 5 races since, and been taken out at the overnight stage for whatever reason. tomorrow, they have booked mr richard johnson no less(mowgli's favourite jockey lol). trainer henry daly has had 2 winners and a 2nd in the last 14 days from 8 runners, and as we all know johnson had a cracking day at musselburgh with 3 winners and a 2nd from 6 rides. so plenty of positives, if the beast has taken to hurdling, and go's on the softer ground then it should be a pretty decent each way bet, especially if the real betting mirrors the rpf of 16/1. early betfair price 10.5.... best of luck tish

  12. Re: Doncaster 02/02/2008

12.50 VELOSO 22/1 e/w A very small e/w bet for me on this French breed Irish trained horse who won a poor race at wolves on only run for trainer and may go well now tried over hurdles. 3.30 A win bet on ROYAL ROSA @ 14/1 has some good form and interesting Ruby is booked to ride. ANOTHER RUM e/w 25/1 who ran well at 40s lto and has won at the Cheltenham festival in the past HIDDEN BOUNTY may be 12 but can go well off a light weight has never ran this far before but 25/1 looks big.
veloso does go well from what i have been told ted;), could get a run at a big price
