    Re: Make a living with betting ¿should i be a mathematician? I would like to add some reminder for the reader. Always beware yourself when trying to find value bets. The value is actually correspond with one estimation and is not the actual outcome value. If one have some way to work the value of the bet, it is also need to refer to the current market value is offering. If the difference of the value are too much, it is not mean that you have found gold mind, it may be a road to disaster. Example: One has work out his bet value is 1.40 for the match. But currently, the market is offering 2.10, to me, this situation does not represent any value, it is a very dangerous bet to jump into. The best is to stay out. If one has work out his value at 1.40 and the current market is offering about 1.80 or below which is about 30% higher than your estimated value is still consider valid due to certain unaccurate estimation by oneself. Other than that, do not think it is gold mine, it will not be most of the time,

Great Question, I think it is best to open account in Betfair and Betdaq Betting Exchange cos there are many small honest bookies is trying to offsets their bet to balance their book in betting exchange. You can profits from it as you should know, winning tip are basically comes from many loser bet, so it is possible to get a good tip to bet all the time. One more things when taking bet in betting exchange, you must also be clever in it or else those other intellingent bettor may know someone is going to cash their money so they may offer not so good odd for any league you are good at. Unless you aim for favourite league only, then it is hard to monitor due to high liquidity on the market.

Very good point indeed you give to me BFB, I have notice one serious odd, that is 2.30 above and below 2.40, failure rate is about 68%, I could have reduce it to improved my profits. I will go through more details about it of all my bet tomorow. Very nice breakdown strategy to improved one system. In the mean time, i will follow your advice to maintain flat stakes in my blog and over here, i will try the mentioned staking to see if it is good or not. It is also because, i saw my pick does not have very high risk of over 70% loss in a day when there are multiple pick avaliable.

    Re: Soccer Over / Under Bet System I have just finalized the best staking plan which I will use for the pick I post here. As from 18/5/2006. I will bet each of my pick using 5% of my starting bank. Each new day I will use 5% of the new bank balance. But if there is a loss day, my bet will go back to minimum 5% based on my starting balance or based on new lower bank balance if the bank standing balance is below my starting bank balance. This staking plan is trying to maximized profits during good form period. Example 1: Current bank balance stand at 120 points. Yesterday bet is a win day, Today bet per match will be 5% of the 120 points. That is 6 point bet per match for today. Example 2: Current bank balance stand at 120 points. Yesterday bet is a loss day, Today bet per match will be 5% of the Starting Bank balance (100 points). That is 5 point bet per match for today. Example 3: Current bank balance stand at 90 points. Yesterday bet is a loss or win day, Today bet per match will be 5% of the 90 points. That is 4.5 point bet per match for today. Let us see what this new staking plan can help improved my profits or worst. Wish me luck on this idea.

BFB You have good example, but for one thing i don't really like about betting sport is that we are very easy to meet with non payment by bookie. So it is not as safe as people trying to profits from stock market. The only solution to this is to have more betting exchange so that the commission will become lower and safer to bet. Inorder to change this trends, it is the bettor themselves that can change this trends. If no one bet with bookie, than sooner or later, they are more willing to become an exchange operator.

Starting Bank: 100pts (Reduce the capital needed from 300pts to 100pts) Total Bets: 107 Matches Total Won: 48 Striking Rate: 44.86% Current Bank Balance: 101.051pts Yield in % : +1.051 After a few trade for this system, I do not think this system need a large starting bank, so i reduce the bank capital. If the system are stable, i will reduce further. The less starting bank, the more yield can be obtain, therefore is faster to increase the bet size for more yielding in the MM system.
