    Melbourne Victory -0.5
Melbourne Victory certainly were made to work hard for their win last week. Down 2-0 in the first half, they fought back and won the game 3-2 with goals from Besart Berisha, a Goran Paracki own goal and then a winner from James Troisi.
Adelaide United has been hit by injuries in recent weeks and because of that their results have been inconsistent. After losing to Sydney FC last week, they have now lost 4 out of their last 6 games. Coach Marco Kurz will welcome some key players back like fullbacks Michael Marrone and Ben Garuccio today but influential Danish winger Johan Absalonson will still be out.
For a team of Melbourne Victory stature, their results so far have been pretty poor. Last week comeback win could the catalyst to finally help Melbourne Victory kick off their season. They are still winless at home this season but they will fancy their chances against Adelaide who is still finding their creativity in front of goal without the injured Absalonson and Karim Matmour who departed this week because of personal reasons.

    Brisbane Roar +0.5 @ 2.2 and DNB @ 3.46
I'm not sure why Victory will be such huge favourites here. They have Besart Berisha back but will be without Mark Milligan as he will be with the Australian national team. They produced a gusty performance on Monday but this team still lacks quality without their international players. Roar may not be doing well too but I feel that they can get something here. I'm going to split my bet between +0.5 and DNB option hoping that they will win the game.

    Perth Glory -0.5
The Reds squad will once again be depleted as six starters (Regan, Gulum, Lia, Diawara, Absalonsen and Elrich) are all ruled out. Perth Glory had a rough start but they played three of their first four games away. They are usually strong at Perth and I fancy their chances at getting three points against an injury plagued Adelaide United.

    Brisbane Roar -0.5
Despite going down 3-0 last week, Brisbane Roar produced a stunning comeback against the Phoenix to get a draw. Ben Khalfallah rolled back the years and produced one of the best performance in recent times. CCM will be disappointed that they didn't beat Victory thanks to them hitting the post twice. Even with that, I think CCM is still one of the weaker team in the competition. If Roar can build on last week performance, they should get their first win of the season.

    WSW DNB
Things certainly won't be easier for Victory. No Barbarouses and Troisi because of international duty while Berisha is still suspended. Replacements like Mitch Austin and Jai Ingham are just not very good. WSW will only be without Josh Risdon. They have played ok in the last few games but failed to get maximum points. They will like their chances to get a rare win at Melbourne.

It's an international break for the first week but A-league will go on. Expect some international players to be called up.

I somehow like Barca to beat Juventus. Since their set back against Real Madrid and Neymar saga, it seems like they have settled down and motivated to do well. Juventus is ok but don't think they are as strong especially after the sale of Bonucci.

DC United v Atlanta Utd DNB
Surprisingly, DC United has been a nemesis to Atlanta United this season. In the two meetings, they have actually beaten them. Atlanta didn't play particularly bad in the two games but they failed to put DC United away with the chances they had. As a result, they were punished. DC United will be playing on short rest and a trip back from high altitude Colorado isn't the best preparation for this game. Atlanta should be well rested and more focused for this final meeting and I believe they will right the wrong from the first two meetings here.

    Inter DNB @ 2.31
Going with Inter for the second week. A big game for them. I think they did well in the first week. Roma won too but not too impressive and it seems like they are still trying to adapt under Eusebio Di Francesco. Nianggolan was asked to play in a deeper role this season and that is not going to be as effective as he is going to be. I have a feeling Roma will struggle.

Crystal Palace is likely to be thrashed again. I seriously doubt FDB will change his tactics, afterall he is still making his team adapt to his tactics. Mane and Salah will have a field day against the Palace slow wingbacks.

I like Hoffenheim DNB. This team is rock solid at home and was unbeaten for the whole season. They may have lost Sule and Rudy but they have brought in reinforcements like Grillitsch and Gnabry (both players are my ex players in my football manager save as Werder Bremen manager) so I know what they can do.

Back from a short break and I'm ready again.
    Chicago Fire -0.75
It has been quite a while since Fire has gone three games without winning. Their winless run is on the road which isn't that uncommon in MLS. Chicago Fire will be glad to be back at home where they are really dominant. In the 10 games, they have won 9 and draw 1, scoring 27 goals and conceding only 4 goals. As for Revolution, their wins were at home and against two struggling teams in LA Galaxy and Philly Union so it's hard to say that they have turn a corner. With Fire playing at Toyota Park again and against one of the poorest road team in MLS, I think they should get back to winning ways here.

    FC Dallas DNB
Both teams come into this game on a back of a thrashing. Philly may have won 6 out of their last 7 at home but FC Dallas is a different animal. They have the best defence in the league and have only lost twice away (one was where they fielded a weakened team). It's just too hard to trust Philly because of their inconsistency. FC Dallas will want to prove that last week result is nothing more than a blip.

    *Poor form alert
    Whitecaps -0.5
Whitecaps will know there is no better opportunity to continue their climb up the table. Timbers isn't the best road side and could be missing up to at least 8-10 first teams and squad players due to Gold Cup, injuries and suspensions and Whitecaps (who has a habit of being too passive at times) should really be going for all 3 points.

Odds seem to be dropping so I will post the Wed game first. Let's see if we can make it two in a row with Hotlanta.
    Atlanta -1 @ 2.11(marathonbet)
Earthquakes Anibal Godoy has left to join up with the Panama national team that is likely to leave them abit short in the central midfield area. While both teams are on a 3 games a week schedule, Earthquakes are likely to be more tired. Players like Imperiale, Yueill, Hyka(77 minutes against Sounders) and Wondolowski have already play 90 minutes in the last two games. Being a cross country game as well, the travelling will add on the extra burden. Atlanta frightening front four(Almiron, Asad, Villalba and Martinez) should be ready to go again as it will only be their second game. Earthquakes is rather woeful on the road(2W-1D-5W) and I believe Atalanta should be able to pick up another win at home before the Gold Cup break begins.

Got to say this week fixtures are tough. I liked Houston but their second and third top goal scorers(Elis and Quito) are unavailable because of international duty.
    Atalanta United DNB 3.24/+0.5 2.09(pinnacle)
I'm going to take a risk this week, splitting my unit into two. Atlanta hasn't been playing too well lately when playing on the road but their high pressing style could force Crew backline into mistakes. While Atalanta played in midweek, their front four(Almiron, Asad, Villalba and Martinez) are rested so they should all play in this game. Columbus Crew is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you could be getting from them each week so there is always a good chance that they won't turn up after their big win against Montreal.

    Jiangsu Suning DNB @ 2.07
News just came in that coach AVB, Hulk and Chinese international Wu Lei will be suspended for two games for protesting against Oscar eight games ban. That would mean Shanghai SIPG will be without three of their starters. The trio Hulk, Wu Lei and Oscar has combined for 19 goals and 17 assists among them. Without the trio, I think Jiangsu has a good chance of getting their second win(and Fabio Capello first win) of the season

    Chicago Fire -1 @ 2.18
Orlando players have been forced to go into overdrive in midweek when they went in search of an equaliser(which they did and screw me ). A cross country game is probably the last thing they needed. Chicago Fire could be the Leicester City of MLS if they win the cup this season while Schweinsteiger(10x better than Stevie G and Lampard) has been a revelation so far in his short MLS career. Sounders failed to take advantage of Orlando but I doubt Fire will let the chance slip away.
