    Re: Nap of the day Sunday 8th March 4.00 Naas Misty Lady 14/1 Ladbrokes .5 pt each way. 7 lbs up, 2 out of the handicap and his jockey has lost 2 lbs of the claim but this horse has put in so many bold showings in some of the better Irish handicaps this winter I think it deserves to be among the favourites. Been placed the last 6 starts and looks open to improvement. Also fancy Mrs MacVeale and Lord Scoundrel in the same race.

    4.25 Southwell Sleepy Blue Ocean 6/1 bet365 1 point win. Same reason as Sir Geoffrey the other day, won a recent Southwell race his second last run, and his 5th of 10 last time out was impressive going up the stands rail. 3/4 length behind Oriental relation that time who was more towards the middle and now there's been a 3 pound swing in the ratings in Ocean's favour. Those 2 are drawn 1 and 2 so ideally placed to fight it out and I think Sleepy Blue Ocean has a fair chance.

    Southwell 16.10 Sir Geoffrey 16/1 1 point win skybet. Seems to go on the sand, has 5 handicap wins on the surface. Fair recent form, maybe a bit better than the bare form at Southwell as drawn high and last time raced towards the dreaded stands rail. Drawn 6 of 12, cheekpieces back on and Luke Morris getting the ride could make this horse very competitive.
